Well done Shiney - on the weightloss and the not-picking-up-the-phone. Poor guy needs to learn to take a hint.

wastingaway · 22/01/2010 17:10

DEM, DS is only 20 months (and has little legs) and was in the 2-5 area, and needed some help. Plus, we are working on social skills ie. not grabbing and/or bashing anyone who comes within arms reach so I need to be able to see/grab him when necessary.
I am looking forward to visits in the future when he is big/civilised enough to be left to it.

Shiney, yay! That's really good!

I'm not weighing til after DS bath and bed time, but am not having a massive tea like last week. It was all the roast pork's fault.

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 22/01/2010 17:20

Oh i remember those days wasting. glad they are over. although stil have to watch the nearly fives with the bashing and fighting. boys never grow out of that really.

My mother is truely toxic

Lizzylou · 22/01/2010 17:24

Whats up, DEM?

I am pleased I don't do soft play any more, DS2 goes with the CM. Though there is a place near us with a huge v slippy slide which is fun. Pity DS2 was always too scared to come down it with me.

jetcatisfrozen · 22/01/2010 17:25

well done shiney thats very impressive - as you are our leader, we should all follow your lead

i am a little wobbly here have finally decided to try and help Junior as much as i can with her education, and am withdrawing her from school, as of now

jetcatisfrozen · 22/01/2010 17:28

oh that doesnt sound good DEM

can someone tell me, does olive oil actually work for cradle cap - as mini has some on the top of her scalp and she is at the hairdressers tomorrow.

YanknCock · 22/01/2010 17:38

jet, have heard olive oil does work, but poor little girl at the group I go to on Tuesday can't get rid of hers and mum has tried everything including olive oil.

DEM, what's up? My printed was misbehaving today and churned out a chunk of broken plastic from somewhere, and I thought of you. I also like taking stuff apart to see how it works

Shiney, well done on 6lbs! and on not picking up the phone.

alypaly · 22/01/2010 17:40

leave the olive oil on as often as you can and then just gentle massage and brush the scalp. Use every day,as often as you can.

I think you need to talk to FB jet.

Lizzy my mum is self centred and everything is about her, what she has done and how she is feeling. She has just thrown a major wobbley about the fact i am chosing to move away and the fact that she wont ever see ds again and it is really awful that ds will see more of his other gran then her. etc etc etc. I got and have basically told her to shove it, and that the more fuss she makes about it being more difficult to see ds the less likely he will see her as it will just be too stressful. It is going to happen. she is very manipulative though and has been as long as i cn remember. sometimes i stand up to her and sometimes i dont. I am quite frankly getting fed up of it and it was one of the deciding factors in choosing to move. the school he is at now is one of the best in the country but will compromise it for a good school to get ds away from her. No doubt i will be called an ungrateful cow over the next few weeks and she will try to make mine and ds' life hell but i shall be a nightmare if needed. I just prefer not and her to get a grip and realise the whole world is not about her.

The only bit i am a bit about is that is will mean there is no way to stop the 50% custardy thing so will see less of ds, but then again hopefully i will have more time to focus on him when i do have him and it will be better for ds to see his dad more often. It is this bit i am a tad wobbly on.

So after that epipic, i shall be moving to closer to the fens/ A1 ish and still have friends down that way which is fab. Or at least that is the plan but is a bit job dependant. hopefully as there will be less competition and a lot of easily commutable schools there is a good chance of a job.

traceybath · 22/01/2010 17:49

Norma - fingers crossed everything is fine. I had a similar thing a few years back and consultant I saw was fab and pretty much gave me the all clear straight away.

Shiney - well done on your loss.

Yank - i did olive oil for ds2 but only thing that finally cleared it up was special shampoo - think it was called dentinox.

Ok - 1.75lbs from goal weight now - but will probably be up a bit on monday after weekend so am aiming to be goal a week on monday. Am fitting in all my old clothes now so the last couple of pounds is pure vanity

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 22/01/2010 17:49

you joining us alypaly?

bellavita · 22/01/2010 17:58

Hello there Aly

Ladies, Alypaly has helped me out in my hour of need over my friend's cake and I said if she found herself at a loose end at any time and fancied some cock and cake healthy eating chat, to come over!

Alicetheinvisible · 22/01/2010 18:02

Well done Shiney!!

DEM - is it a town beginning with P that you are moving to? I seem to remember something to do with that when we were chatting about the fridge freezer. I think it sounds like a good idea to get away from your mum

Our main computer and telly broke this morning so DH has just gone and bought a new computer so will hopefully get everything working again (we have our telly through media centre, which runs through windows media - v complicated) it has been a tough day with cbeebies

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 22/01/2010 18:13

Nope not keen on the school/doctor situation in P. moving to a smaller town beginning with S that is very near by. But that neck of the woods.

wastingaway · 22/01/2010 18:14

Ouch Alice! Hope you get it all working again soon!

Wonder if alypaly was searching out scalp queries to solve hidden in amongst all the cock healthy eating chat unbidden.

DEM, I'm not surprised you want to get away from her.

Tracey, well done on fitting in your old clothes!

I tried on my old combats (circa '97) other day and got them over my knees.

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 22/01/2010 18:15

Fab Bella - need more lovely cake talk to spoil the old diet! Welcome Aly!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 22/01/2010 18:15

Cock and cake sounds a good combination to me....

..not talking about it though Lol!

My heart stoppingly --gorgeous- nice customer has just been and I couldn't resist a peek at his bum!!

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 22/01/2010 18:17

YanknCock · 22/01/2010 18:19
WhereChaosTheoryRules · 22/01/2010 18:19

YanknCock · 22/01/2010 18:22

I have a nice bottle of real wine, so brace yourselves....

Lizzylou · 22/01/2010 18:27

Dem, poor you. BUt good for you for standing your ground, I think you and DS will have a better life, more independent and much as it may pain you at first, it will be good for your DS to see his Dad, it'll give you some space as well, you deserve that too.

Tracey, well done you!

Wasting, have had same experience this week with a pair of jeans that fitted me 2 years ago

Am sat here in my velcro rollers, I am a sex kitten. Have been stroking my new bag, I never have anything new, am an Ebay gal, it is gorgeous........

Right, off to trowel the slap on to try and look halfway decent, may partake of a glass of wine and put some Duran Duran banging tunes on

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 22/01/2010 18:27

Fabulous you leading the cock talk tonight then Yank?

YanknCock · 22/01/2010 18:34
