lucky I checked - I can't believe I had July in my head! Will book when DD is tucked up for her nap.

Yeah for little yank and his nap. It does suddenly seem to happen Yank. DD did not like sleeping in the daytime at all until about 5 or 6 months (maybe later). Now she sleeps about an hour in the morning and an hour and half/two hours after lunch. Makes a huge huge difference. I can actually get some MNing work done

I have given DD your birthday wishes....and she has blown kisses to you all.

HOLY CRAP - for trills - though I can't quite understand what for something to do with PHO's

Alice - good luck with that! DD is enjoying her educational dose of cbeebies right now.

Lizzylou · 22/01/2010 12:08

Yank, I used to do Victoria Wood sketches with my Mom ad nauseum (well, made us laugh), when I moved up here (a few miles from where she is from) I had to bite my tongue sooo many times.
DH's comedy Northerner act was what first attracted me to him.
And his ass.

Yay for sleeping BabyYank too, enjoy

Hair looks OK, just a chin length bob, I HATE mirrors at the hairdressers I look like a bloated, sleep deprived sack of wrinkles. Doesn't help that all the juniors are all 16 yr old Svelte and trendy Goddesses.
Ne'er mind, will just trowel the slap on later and hope for bad lighting tonight.

FabIsGoingToBeFabIn2010 · 22/01/2010 12:32

That is a lot of chatting and not so much healthy eating chat.

Just had some lettuce - wth did my cat want it too?

Daft question - if you are starving and can feel it in your stomach, does that mean fat is being eaten away?

Goes off to have soup and hang head in shame.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 22/01/2010 12:35

I am sort of in bed. DD read me a story and I dozed off.

I am glad you are getting 5 mins yank...enjoy them.

I couldn't sleep last night and spent 1 1/2 hrs looking at a little something to wear on the 12th!

I have had a KitKat easter rabbit as the local shop had run out of KitKats and so I kicked up a fuss (joking one...they are friends!) and so they raided the easter stock to shut me up pacify me.

And fab for Trills, even though I have no idea what a PH... thingy is.

I am sort of doing my bookwork.

Working from home is just sooooooooo demanding

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 22/01/2010 12:36

Oh god I hate hairdressers mirrors too - I assume this is why most hairdressers wear inch thick make up.

Last time I went I made the awful mistake of having my eyebrows threaded before the cut - so I looked pasty and bloated with bright red brows - attractive.

Is anyone else having trouble with the radisson website?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 22/01/2010 12:38

but chatting burns off calories Fab!!!

TDWP come and give one of your delicious explanations as to why all these nattering is relevant to healthy eating please.........

MitsubishiWarrioress · 22/01/2010 12:39

oh! there you are

VinegarTits · 22/01/2010 12:40

if you are starving and you can feel it in your stomach that means you should EAT!

You shouldn't starve yourself, that it the quickest way to get your body to store fat, although your body will start to eat into your fat reserves when it is starving, the next time you do eat it will store more fat, as it wont know when it is going to get food again, so people who strave themselves away put weight on twice as quick when they do eat, or something like that

It is better to eat regular low fat meals and at the same time every day if you want to lose weight the healthy way

TDWP, I couldn't get onto Radisson site yesterday at all, via Google Chrome or Explorer.

Well, I don't look half so bad in my bathroom mirror, so will just keep on kidding myself, until next hair cut

TDWP, you've reminded me, I need to sort my eyebrows out before tonight.

Fab, if you're typing you can't stuff dirty calorific food in your gob. Then Sazz or Flam will come on and tell us all about their new size 10 jeans and you really will think twice before reaching for the biscuits.

That is the theory, anyway.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 22/01/2010 12:45

Reality be my train buddie/roomie! If I ever manage to get on the site. Might try it via lastmiute.com

VinegarTits · 22/01/2010 12:46

Royalty i just invited you on the Eugene thread

YanknCock · 22/01/2010 12:48

On the subject of comedy northerners...the first time DH made me watch his Peter Kay DVDs with him, I actually couldn't understand a lot of what he was saying

Then we moved up here, and for my job I had to go train some people at Royal Bolton Hospital. The whole day I was grinning because LOADS of people sounded like Peter Kay!

DS managed about 70 minutes of sleep and woke up pretty smiley. How lovely.

Having tuna with light mayo and mustard on Ryvita Thins, and an apple and banana. Tonight Chicken Thai curry thing. Was supposed to be last night but didn't feel like cooking at nearly 9pm so we ordered pizza But got just a single pepperoni with reduced fat cheese.

I'm still doing the Flylady thing and I have to say the house is really starting to look a lot tidier. Today I cleaned out my dresser, found some old perfume from Ann Summers called 'Ravish'. IIRC, it supposedly has pheromones in it that make your bloke want to jump you. Never worked on XH, have put a bit on to see if it has any effect on MrCock.

Cheers Vinegar. Trouble is, I am hungry a lot.

Blinking cat is after my French onion soup now.

VinegarTits · 22/01/2010 12:55

If your hungry alot then have 4 or 5 or 6 smaller meals a day instead of 3 larger meals

ha you would think i was some sort of dieting guru, i only wish i could stick to my own advice

Lizzylou · 22/01/2010 12:58

Yank, very often I find myself in the middle of a Victoria Wood sketch, when I went Belly dancing with a load of middle aged women, the supermarket, school run etc, comedy gold!
Lots of DH's mates come from Bolton and they all do sound like Peter Kay.
My life in the North is one long comedy sketch

And I am starting to say "potaayto" like a proper Lancashire bird too

hellsbelles · 22/01/2010 12:58

oh how exciting - I've booked my room (the penthouse suite at just £1,500 - which I thought was rather a bargain). And one for Jet and her sharer (can't keep up with who that is).

Jet - I have sent you a message on FB about it.

I am quite ridiculously excited about this. DH thinks I'm bonkers and keeps muttering under his breath. I think he imagines you are all as mad as me and is thanking his lucky stars that we live very far from where this infamous meeting will occur

FabIsGoingToBeFabIn2010 · 22/01/2010 13:00

Someone save me!!!!

VinegarTits · 22/01/2010 13:01

Hells i hope you have told your DH that i am the sensible one?

OP posts:
MitsubishiWarrioress · 22/01/2010 13:05

I'm Jet's sharer hells.... ..So...there is another room booked as I booked one also..TDWP...do you want it with your roomy or shall I cancel it? (as you are finding it hard to get on the site)

hellsbelles · 22/01/2010 13:09

yes of course vinny - I haven't told him about your alter ego though

Sorry Mitts! Don't worry about cancelling as you booked first (I'll cancel if needs be). i might hold it for a while as we are sure to get others wanting to go and I don't think I'll get charged if I cancel it nearer the time.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 22/01/2010 13:10

Well after all my 'I'll be eating x y and z and be ever so healthy' talk I have cocked up this lunch time.

I've just eaten two huge crusty bread rolls with melted brie, bacon and maple syrup, oh and a wee bit of lettuce haha.

I plan to eat an entire pineapple with DD when she's finished her lunch though.
