Hugs Bella and Lizzy and poor DEM, not a good night? I was up as well but stared dejectedly at the 'puter screen unable to put together coherant thought.

I did lol as I was going to ask if I could join DEM and JET when they slunk off for quiet time at the meet as I can get socially anxious, and just envisaged the group getting bigger and bigger as we all confessed our insecurities until most of the group were slinking around the hotel in Pink Panther style, dodging in and out of rooms...

I did do my online shopping last night so heaven knows what I have ordered.

DD is very very poorly with Asthma and croup, . It came out of nowhere and really knocks her for six. So no work...
I might try and collate some of my writing if she settles... I can't do any house work until she picks up as any dust will make her worse (damn!!).

Breakfast will be liquid again as my appetite has gone.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 22/01/2010 07:48

Lizzy, my weight never shifts unless I do adequate 'cardiovascular' exercise...

Lizzylou · 22/01/2010 08:03

I think you're right, Mitts, exercise is the key, I am just struggling to fit it in, it is too dark to run in the evenings and I can only swim Tuesday and Friday nights, which were out this week.
Next week will have an exercise plan and stick to it.
The nights should be getting lighter anyway, soon.

Hope your DD feels better Mitts.

I get anxious and shy in front of "new" people but have an awful habit of hiding it by running off at the mouth, just give me a (sugar free) lollipop or something to shut me up if I get too much . DH and I are both quite shy people but people don't ever believe us because we have our coping mechanisms, DH goes into comedy Northerner mode and I gab for England.

jetcatisfrozen · 22/01/2010 08:10

Mitts - of course you can I am sure DEM wont mind either.

Exercise is the key for me too - and shamefully, i havent been doing nearly as much as i was when i started back in July. I just need to get all motivated again

morning to all

MitsubishiWarrioress · 22/01/2010 08:18

I am the same Lizzy.. I do brisk walking for an hour a day because of walking DD to school (she usually cycles), and often walk one way or another to/from town, and of course KickBoxing which is good.

But I haven't ran or cycled properly since I was poorly, and to be honest the menopause thing at the moment means I am often too uncomfortable to either, although I suspect if I got myself together it might actually help.

Morning all.

[grin[ at the idea of us all sneaking around thinking 'must hide from the scary people'.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 22/01/2010 09:35

Morning all

I promise I'm not scary - plan to very carefully pace myself with the booze too so I don't make a tit of myself.

Found out something very odd last night - the leaseholder of our terrace phoned me because we're still having a massive problem with mice. Turns out the woman three doors up is a hoarder. 'Mr Treebus' style.

The council and police are going round next week to remove all the junk. Apparently there's two rooms full to the ceiling with rubbish. Very odd you can't smell/see anything from outside. It's quite sad really.

Sorry to those that haven't lost weight - at least you haven't put any on hey!

VinegarTits · 22/01/2010 09:42

Morning

DEM i shocked ds1 into cooking, washing and ironing at age 12, he was telling his gf last night that he has had to fend for himself for many years

I think the expense of living alone will shock him though, he has no concept of how much it costs to run a home

Your poor dd mitts, croup is horrible, hope she gets better soon

I have just ordered a bacon and sausage barm

urghhh. Another hangover. Very tired as I really didn't want to go out last night but was a very df's birthday so had to. Twas lovely once we got going but one of our lot got her bag stolen which put a massive dampner on the whole night. I think I know who it was as well. Saw the bastard come in and then leave quickly after. Horrible as we were all in that happy sparkly mood you get after a glass of wine and lots of nice company.

O.k...rooms wise I'm going to book mine and the one that jet is sharing with ??? (she seems to have a list of 10 willing partners ) - Lizzy it sounds like you now have yours sorted (with Sazz? I'm confused). Let me know if not and I'll do yours too.

Diet has suffered massively so must get back on track. Will be good.

DD is one today. I'm actually feeling really emotional at it (what a bloody wuss - I blame the hangover). I had such a scary pregnancy that I was unsure what she was going to come out like (had to take many meds and go under GA for an op during it)....and so her birth and seeing she was perfect was the biggest relief I've ever felt I'm my life. Feels so amazing that she's one now and she's such a light in our lives that she was worth all the horrendous stuff we went through to get her. DS is being proper big brother and making sure we celebrate properly (he's not letting us get away with 'she really doesn't have a clue that it's her birthday' )

Actually thinking of Defluff - anyone heard any news on her and her baby? I know she was going through some really scary things during her pregnancy.

Enough rambling. Off to get some salad for lunch so I don't cheat again.

hellsbelles · 22/01/2010 10:10

just to double double check - it is the night of the 12th July I'm booking isn't it? Assuming no breakfast as that usually finishes at 9.30 doesn't it and I am planning to have a once in a lifetime lie in We can always find a cafe someone to get a nice diet fry up

VinegarTits · 22/01/2010 10:15

Aww Hells, happy birthday to your DD

Yep, 12th is correct, i really want to stay in the hotel now, hoping i might win the lottery before June so i can treat me and bof to a room

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 22/01/2010 10:18

12th JUNE! Hells, not July.
I am sorted now, thanks x

Happy Birthday to Hell's DD and big congrats to her Mom too for getting through a scary time (nurofen for the hangover ).

Off to have my hair cut now, will be all swishy v soon

YanknCock · 22/01/2010 10:28

Lizzy, are you going to post pictures?

MrCock loves comedy Northerners, we should introduce them. He lived with three guys from oop north while doing his PhD, and thus has perfected his own comedy northern accent. I have to remind him not to do it in public up here, lest people think he is taking the mick out of them personally.

I also think he should meet MrSazzles, clearly there is some shared musical taste there since I learned yesterday Sazz has a 3 year old who can headbang!

VinegarTits · 22/01/2010 10:32

Oh shit did you say July Hells? did read properly, yep its June

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 22/01/2010 10:32

Sazzles Just because you haven't lost any weight it doesn't mean you haven't lost any body fat. You're probably just retaining water so will have an extra big loss next week. I find it more helpful to only weigh myself every 2 weeks and also to measure inches as well as weight. That way if you stay the same or gain you can see if you've lost inches instead (which is better anyway!)

VinegarTits · 22/01/2010 10:33

didnt

Can I just say HOLY CRAP, DS has been napping in his cot for the last 50 minutes. I am stunned. He never naps during the day unless he falls asleep on me (and then I can't move). I'm going to have a dance of joy and then get in the shower, without a baby in a bouncer staring at my boobs.

TrillianAstra · 22/01/2010 10:56

12th July is not a Saturday.

Can I have a "Holy Crap!" too please? I think I'm actually going otbe able to run this ridiculous PHO thing. Not as miraculous as being able to have a shower on your own, I know, but I'm quite pleased

bellavita · 22/01/2010 10:59

Hello, had the yogga brekka instead of toast - just thought you would all like to know my decision!

TDWP - I used to love Life of Grime with Mr Treebus - wiley old sod wasn't he!

Vinny - I can always change the booking to a king sized bed and we can sneak you and BofF in!!

VinegarTits · 22/01/2010 11:01

Oh well done to both of you

yes showering alone is a luxury i dont often get, nor a bath without ducks, boats, cars, planes and ds2 for company. enjoy it Yank

VinegarTits · 22/01/2010 11:01

Happy Birthday to Hells DD!

TrillianAstra · 22/01/2010 11:04

I've had a yoghurt and some dried fruit (remains of graze box) so far. Muller Light were on 5 for £1 in Tesco (makes no sense, normally 53p or similar, but I won't complain) and I like the vanilla/toffee flavour ones.

When DP get back last night he had for dinner:
tomato/mozarella/red onion salad
tomato soup
2 boiled eggs with toast
packet of crisps

Basically a collection of things that were lying around and quick. It made me really want boiled egg, but I just don't get up early enough.

bellavita · 22/01/2010 11:06

Blimey, didn't think it was that obvious Vinny

You know I am only joking with you and not stalking don't you....
