Maybe we should all (including the locals and semi-locals) descend on the hotel for cheap fizzy wine and makeup and fighting-for-the-mirror. Then it really will be like being 18, except in a hotel rather than uni halls.

Jet - i think part of the problem as i too have never done the posh hotel thing. But i guess that is part of the reason why it might be nice to do it. Will speak to the wise ex tomo. He'll tell me to just enjoy and go for it i suspect. i like his new girlfriend. She is supportive of the fact that we are friends and still do things for the boy. Look forward to meeting her and her kids at some point. She sounds lovely from what i have encountered (3-way phone call)

i still need to confirm with ex that he will rearrange weekends have told him i have an exam the next day, and there is a big meeting to discuss it over the weekend Kind of half true then......

If i tell him its for a piss up a weekend away he will say no straight away. He wont return my calls though, so have left him a message and no doubt will have a few rantings on sat when i drop the girls off.

DEM - we sound very similar, as i have been known to slope off for a few moments of silence during outings. We can arrange to meet up for a bit lunch and shopping before the big meet if you like, and take it from there? I know that would help me, but dont feel obliged

So, Ocado shop has come and somehow I have managed to order a big bag of onions, a small bag of onions, a large pot of mushrooms and a small pot of mushrooms but no potatoes . If I looked at that order once, I must have looked at it 100 times.

I suspect i am just tired. ds has been tricky to get down again and i have to have a file of evidence proving my knowledge of GCSE science ready for tomo. suspect late night.

Trill they have upped the vat on the subs. I have tesco rental which use lovefilm. And that is going up as of feb, but newbies have had the hike since satrt of jan.

Yeah, I know the actual subscriptions are moer than they used to be, but I got £15 free trial, so as paying for 1 month (of unlimited rentals, 2 discs at a time) costs £12.99 I am still up.

I really like it as can rent the annoying kid films so ds can watch then but then they go back so he cant annoy me with them
