Lizzy and Hells, thats fine thanks (although i am sure Mitts said something about sharing as well - wow, i'm popular)

i have been scouring ebay, and your thoughts please. If i get a big 3 seater, obv i would need either another small sofa or a chair. Do they have to match??

There is a lovely beige sofa with only 1hr left, and it is only £10.50 at the moment It is about 30 miles from me i think, but if i could get it cheap, i could pay for someone to collect. But, i am worried that it would look naff if i couldnt get something to match

Vinny - good luck for tomorrow

BoF - i do that all the time! Usually when i have just loaded a full shopping trolley onto the conveyer.

Dem, i heart you Mini just spent 90 mins with a pritt stick and all the little paper packaging strips She even didnt bother about Dora, and i usually have to tear her away from the tele!

BitOfFun · 21/01/2010 19:05

Matchy matchy is a bit old fashioned- I wouldn't worry, Jet.

BitOfFun · 21/01/2010 19:07

Set the alarm on your mobile, make sure you are logged in and SWOOP in the last few seconds- that's my tip. And throw your maximum bid on then.

Lizzylou · 21/01/2010 19:08

Gawd no, don't worry about matching.

Next doors have two different colour sofas, a dusky red and a beige, they look really nice.

VinegarTits · 21/01/2010 19:08

No, matching is boring, go for the sofa, i would, sounds ideal!

Evening all,

Just a quickie it's not looking good for me for the meet up as DH is working & it doesn't look like he can get the time off sorry girls

jetcatisfrozen · 21/01/2010 19:14

right, then have a look here, it only has an hour left!

my next favourite - this one as i like the comfy style.

next - here quite similar to what i have got now, but bigger - the chair is only 10cm smaller than my sofa!

and finally my other favourite, as i think it looks in really good condition.

opinions would be greatfully received, as you know how crap i am at making decisions I think when i looked before i have set the distance setting too close to home, so have upped it to 50 miles. I dont think that should cost too much for removals?

Alicetheinvisible · 21/01/2010 19:15

Really jealous of your night out Will you take loads of pics?

jetcatisfrozen · 21/01/2010 19:18

norma

VinegarTits · 21/01/2010 19:20

i love them all except the 3rd one Jet (the one similar to yours now) the last one is my fav, very stylish

Lizzylou · 21/01/2010 19:23

We had sofas very similar to your favourite one! It was v comfy.

I like them all, do as BOF says about the bidding as well.

jetcatisfrozen · 21/01/2010 19:25

would they take plum colour scatter cushions do you think Vinny? I have some gorgeous plum curtains, with beigey/cream walls.

Lizzylou · 21/01/2010 19:26

DH has said OK to Manchester on 12th June (that was big of him) but I will need to share otherwise it'll be daft.

Jet, sorry hadn't realised Mitts had nabbed you already!

Does anyone else need a roomy?????

jetcatisfrozen · 21/01/2010 19:27

see, now i am thinking i should leavve the one that ends tonight, as the others come in pairs, which would mean i dont have to buy something else - but oh this is soooo hard

NOrma
I missed that you couldn't come, is there any way round it at all?

Bella, I don't mind at all, just relieved I can come, we are going on holiday the next month so should be saving like mad, not spending money on a hotel in Manchester meeting healthy eating (snort!) internet friends when I only live 20miles away!

DH thinks I have comepletely lost the plot, he is worried that you'll be wierdos/stalkers/violent drunks!
