sorry DEM - just turned the box over

thanks so much

YanknCock · 21/01/2010 16:21

I'm back home and Sazz is safely back on the train after lunch in Manchester! Sazzles is lovely and now my weight loss heroine. We were good and both had falafel and haloumi salad thingy.

DS is playing happily with some wadded up paper. He is not unlike a cockatiel I used to have.

DreamsInBinary · 21/01/2010 16:21

I don't use php either.

Are doing El Rincon (sp) for food? Happy anywhere, and happen to know that Abduls do a mean doner kebab...

Def up for champagne cocktails. Set the right tone for the evening, and will help cancel out any "I love you. No, NO, I really REALLY do" later on in the evening.

Also of the Shiney mobile fun, Bella

bellavita · 21/01/2010 16:22

Oooh champagne cocktails (you have to get a word in dontcha that says cock!!) count me in. I am very very easy to please with food, so I will go with the flow on that one.

YanknCock · 21/01/2010 16:26

I'm unpicky on the food front It would probably help if I were a bit pickier.

bellavita · 21/01/2010 16:29

lol DS1 asked if I had a pen he could borrow (he has failed to tell me his school pens have run out and I was in Smiths today too) I said yes, go and get mine out of my handbag which is usually kept on the floor behind the dining room door. He has just said to me as he brought a bag in "blimey, why do you women have so many bag?" thing is, my hnadbag is sat on the kitchen table. I do have a few but have used 3 within the last couple of days!

Lizzylou · 21/01/2010 16:35

Champagne cocktails sound delish.

El Rincon (the Tapas place) is lovely and good value, there are some nice Italian Restaurants too, loads of nice places to choose to be honest.

Jet, I could share with you (if you don't mind), I just need to OK with Lord and Master DH first, am sure it will be OK.

I haven't been out in Manchestaaaar for ages, v excited about meeting everyone, but also worried you'll all think I am a wierdo or summat......

TrillianAstra · 21/01/2010 16:42

Mmm, falafel and halloumi sounds lovely Yank

I am giving both bosses running updates on what I can do so far with php so when it gets to the end of the day and I still can't do the thing that they want me to run overnight I will at least have shown that I've tried.

And MNed of course.

bellavita · 21/01/2010 16:47

Has anyone swallowed anything weirder than a tadpole? If so, please go to the thread in chat and make yourself known.

I'm such a twit- have just been for a long walk with the dog down at the shore, and swung by the supermarket on my way home. Went all the way round getting delicious healthy food blah blah, got to the till, and er, hadn't brought my purse out

YanknCock · 21/01/2010 17:48

Eeek, BOF. I always manage to shove the card I need to pay with into some obscure place in my handbag then have to rummage for ages whilst panicking (or better yet leave it sitting on desk at home).

Ballroom dancing in an hour, must go get ready to drop DS at friend's house. It's been ages since I left him last, I really ought to do it more so I can be more relaxed about it.

bellavita · 21/01/2010 17:50

BofF - you numpty.

Shiney, tell me more about your Uggs. Did you get them through Office again? I want the Cardy ones in brown or black but they had a really good offer on and they are still sold out. There are some cream ones but cannot see them standing up to the muck.

me! I'm in.

Bella I'm off out but can you do me a big favour and tell me what I"m supposed to book - is it the 12th June? And which hotel. Jet am I booking you a single or twin (not sure if you are sharing with someone else). Is there anyone else I need to book for.

Jet - can't remember if your sofa is actually broken? When we were broke we ended up buying really nice covers/throws from Ikea which disguised the state of it (and it was really rank but looked rather perfect with covers!) Also Argos do some decent priced ones (sofas). I really agree with the others....it's worth holding out for Freecycle or the like rather than get yourself in debt.

My hangover renders my brain useless. And I'm going to add to the problem by going out now!

I'll book everything in the morning once I know what the heck I'm doing.

bellavita · 21/01/2010 17:58

Hells here

bellavita · 21/01/2010 18:00

We don't have an Office up here .

Lizzylou · 21/01/2010 18:02

Hells, if DH OK's it, I will share with Jet (if she doesn't mind), if you could book and we could pay you on the day, that would be fab.

Thanks

BOF, I always do stuff like that, I am so scatty at the moment.
Chipy tea?

Gawd, I could murder some chips, blooming low carb thingy.......

bellavita · 21/01/2010 18:03

VinegarTits · 21/01/2010 18:17

BitOfFun · 21/01/2010 18:23
