I would love to join in this thread but it goes so fast and is hard to keep up.

I need to walk more briskly for it to have any fat burning effect but my asthma is bad at the moment.

I have 2 exercise dvds and will give my new one a go tomorrow.

I am fed up of this fat and I know dh isn't keen and wants it gone as he knows it upsets me.

I need to lose 2.5 stone.

jetcatisfrozen · 20/01/2010 17:47

Hi Fab Just jump in - dont worry about it going too fast - it does for me sometimes, so i just post as and when. We are all really friendly (well, most of us)

Lizzylou · 20/01/2010 17:51

Hi Fab

New Year, New You!
I think we are all knuckling down now, join in!

FabIsGoingToBeFabIn2010 · 20/01/2010 17:52

Thank you.

I was on one of the previous shiney threads but couldn't keep up there or see what I was meant to do. It seemed more chat than stop eating all the pies!!

bellavita · 20/01/2010 17:57

Hiya Fab

Oh boy, my friend called earlier on... she has asked if I will make her mum and dad's golden wedding cake and decorate it . I have done cakes for the family but I feel a bit about doing one for someone else.

Just waiting for DH to get home and then I am going out for a meal with some girlies from work. I have only 10 points for something to eat and drink. If I have a jd and diet coke, I will have 9, so I should be able to get something... >

jetcatisfrozen · 20/01/2010 18:10

well, i figure, the more time i spend chatting, the less time there is to eat the pies never was one for multi-tasking

FabIsGoingToBeFabIn2010 · 20/01/2010 18:12

Good point jetcat!

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 20/01/2010 18:13

bella could you one or two over and just eat one or less tomo?

jetcatisfrozen · 20/01/2010 18:15

i like your style Bella - sort the alcohol first

But then i agree with Chaos - can you carry one over?

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 20/01/2010 18:17

Welcome Fab. There is a lot more talking then diet. you want pure diet talk there are those who are that way inclined. I think this is far better as often we end up dealing with the issues behind the eating which imo is far more important then the food obsession part. Just post as and when you can.

I have had a accident with a packet of vanilla slice cake thingies. The accidentally feel into my basket and got bought. And I have just accidentally eaten them whilst catching up

WHy is it when you lot are being good i am always rubbish at the diet front? pst is it bedtime yet. am shattered.

I had a WW meal for lunch, it was vile, tasteless, how do people eat them?

I am making nice mince and potato bake for tea (with mozzie cheese on top so less fattening) will take the leftovers for lunch tomorrow, yypb

Evening

Nice to see you again, Fab. I was Motherpi last time we spoke, I think

So quiet today! D'you reckon everyone is off robbing banks to pay for the Malmaison?

DreamsInBinary · 20/01/2010 18:34

Off to bingo now. Wish me luck

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 20/01/2010 18:37

good luck DIB!

jetcatisfrozen · 20/01/2010 18:40

good luck DIB

And at the risk of being shot down, does it have to be that hotel?? It does look lovely, but it is soooooo expensive

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 20/01/2010 18:42

TBH jet i was thinking that. my stupid computer deleted a post about having a look about. I think the idea of a nice, child free, enjoyable weekend is great but it needs to be accessible not depressible on the price front.

Lizzylou · 20/01/2010 18:43

OOH win big, DIB

Bella, take it as a compliment, they wouldn't have asked you if they didn't think you could do it, anyway, you are resident Domestic Goddess, so you'll do great And yes, I did chuckle at your priorities for tonight's meal

Have had a fab day, have sorted all my money issues by just jiggling things round (now to read Hell's book properly and make a plan to make sure I have frippery money) and have booked our holidays. So v happy here.

Have just had a pack of smoked salmon all day (only a small one, wonder why I need to earn more money???) with some rocket. Lamb with tenderstem brocolli and asparagus for dinner (DH will have wedges with his).

I feel like a ginormous weight has been lifted today.

Lizzylou · 20/01/2010 18:46

I agree, Malmaison is lovely, very lovely. But if all we are going to do is go out get drunk and eat lots and just sleep somewhere, am sure we could come up with a cheaper solution.

Especially if it means the cost is prohibitive, and some people will paying loads to travel. I know I won't, but will have to work on the Saturday so will be there later, if it was anywhere other than Manchester I wouldn't be able to come as only get a few Saturdays off and they are all spoken for (holidays, brother's wedding)

I want to meet everyone!
