Morning.

Well took ages to get to school because of snow but its not really settling on the roads thank goodness.

And yeay- only 2.25 lbs off my wedding weight now - which is my benchmark. Bizarrely I seemed to stick for a couple of weeks and now a couple of pounds has come off quite quickly.

Am wondering how I'll maintain it as am determined to this time.

Georgi - well done to your DS - must say I loathed potty training DS1 and am dreading doing DS2.

jetcatisfrozen · 20/01/2010 12:19

thanks guys I will try and come, i can see ex kicking up a fuss about swapping though, esp as i have told him he isnt allowed to cancel That is the last weekend before my OU exam as well, so will probably need to calm my nerves a little for that!

Well done on the loss tracey

Georgi - been there done that with minijet - she didnt like to use the toilet for poops either Now i cant get her off the bloomin thing

Am having a mad clear round, as OT is coming for junior at tea time, first visit so feel i need to make a bit of an effort to clear the mountainous pile of toys up a little

errrm shiney - not too sure i actually want to thrust you[grin may leave that to the unfortunate soul lucky sod who may share a room with you

jetcatisfrozen · 20/01/2010 12:29

and we have no snow

(but hopes those that do stay safe)

Lizzylou · 20/01/2010 12:39

Oh Shiney, we all thrust you!

Been busy here, but OK.

Hopefully I will be able to come, JET you are coming, end of.

Tracey, will you be coming?

It will be v good but v wierd to meet in rl, won't it.

Oh and I snore and occasionally may do bum puffles, so I could share with Hells or whoever else is similarly afflicted/doesn't mind

wastingaway · 20/01/2010 12:41

No snow here! And no day left! We were finishing breakfast as the radio bonged for midday.
Nice of DS to give me a lie-in though, after I was up soooo late googling CBB.

Well done Tracey!!!

Jet, that post looks like it has chicken pox. You know everyone can't wait to meet you.

TrillianAstra · 20/01/2010 12:45

Hello ladies, sorry for the absence, looks like I missed a lot of cock. I think we should try to link to it on other people's threads too It coul dbe the new bat.

£160 per person for a hotel? Eeek. Not sure I can justify that.

Sorry about DP's job Mamazon, hope something comes up soon.

Lizzylou · 20/01/2010 12:48

Forgot to say well done, Tracey!
YOu svelte beauty you

I am a bit disappointed about DB, the bits I've caught of CBB he seemed relatively sane and normal, quite nice. Not so keen now I know he is an egotistical Knobber with a peanut cock

Noone's "done" Daniel Craig have they? Or Rupert Penry Jones? Because if you have and they were crap/had tiddlers/wierd fetishes, please don't ruin my fantasies, there's a poppet.

I seem to be channelling Claire Rayner or Denise off This Morning with my bum puffles and Poppets

jetcatisfrozen · 20/01/2010 12:49

trills - i think we are trying for some kind of group discount

plus, i think some are sharing to keep costs down. I know that is the only way i would be able to afford to come

Lizzylou · 20/01/2010 12:50

I thought it was £80 pppn?
Or is that just wishful thinking???

TrillianAstra · 20/01/2010 12:53

I didn't really understand, I've just been skimming through while at work. £80pp is better, I'll investigate how much it costs to get there. Where is it? Manchester? Stupidly busy, and was out last night for someone's viv celebrations,w hich is why I have't been around (plus my brain is not up to multi-tasking this morning). I stuck to G&T, approx half diet tonic and half real tonic depending on how much I could be bothered to specify/explain (and be mocked).

hellsbelles · 20/01/2010 13:02

Well done Tracey.

Shiney - I never thrust on a first meeting

Lizzy - I too feel the same about DB - I thought he seemed o.k. and now feel cheated

I haven't got any interesting celeb shags in my past thought Henry from Neighbours did try to pick me up once when I was about 19?!

More work to do now. I'm out tonight but am going to try and be good as I can't bear hangovers.

VinegarTits · 20/01/2010 13:08

Afternoon

I have been in a team meeting all morning zzzz

My boss called me a pessimist, because someone asked when Thursday is and the following phrase popped out of my gob:

'Thursday's tomorrow, another day older......another day closer to death'

Trill i have been posting TWC on other threads, but shiney has been following me telling people not to look at the link and that i am obssessed with cock

OP posts:
VinegarTits · 20/01/2010 13:10

You pay per room in posh hotels, so if we share it will work out £80pppn

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 20/01/2010 13:12

Sleb shags? Crikey. I saw Eddie Izzard in the street once, schlepped over, said 'you're Eddie Izzard you are'. He agreed. I moved along. Glam, non?

I only nipped back for a look at sazz's bum...

So, in 40 threads, what's your collective weightloss? I think if it totals a person then we can oust somebody from MN. I vote... Terry Wogan and his Cock. Although, a very small and childish part of my brain does want to start linking it on other threads. Why should we be the only ones to suffer?

TrillianAstra · 20/01/2010 13:16

I really love Eddie Izzard, but I know I would either quote his jokes at him (v annoying) or just go 'look, Eddie Izzard'. I am not cool.

VinegarTits · 20/01/2010 13:19

SOH my dad would love you, he has a bohran that he tries to play but fails

Are you a fesitval person, do you know of any good folk fessies in the North?

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 20/01/2010 13:46

VT, suspect I'd quite like your dad. I try and fail with my bodhran too. Much better with my fiddle.

I love festies. Here is a good site for finding festivals. Oop north though you can't beat Whitby which is a whole week of festie goodness. I often find that local festivals can be brill and lots of undiscovered talent.

I like to think that on coolfunnyslebs.net EIzzardRox is posting 'oh I met a really funny, interesting folkie once and it's not what she said because what she said means she's a twat, but how she said it. I've met some people in my life, I've done some things sure, but that grey, drizzly day in London will stand out as the highlight of my life'.

[delusional]

VinegarTits · 20/01/2010 13:51

I popped into a folk festie last year in Dent, and Rik Mayall was there, i didnt even know he was in a band i am trying to teach myself to play the tin whistle, i would love to be more folky and go to more folky places but sadly i am just an outside admirer

Cheers for the link, i am taking my dad to the Dent festie this year, its only a small event though i think compared to some

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 20/01/2010 13:57

Folk festies are great. I go to Cambridge every year with a group of friends who are considerably more musical than me. Great as the festival is, sitting around till the small hours with a campfire and couple of guitars singing rousing Billy Bragg and Levellers songs is pretty lovely.

Dunno about Rik Mayall, but have seen Ade Edmondson's band live.

VinegarTits · 20/01/2010 14:01

Yeah i ment him

OP posts:
bellavita · 20/01/2010 14:10

Well done Tracey!

Shiney - thrust indeed - you always have to be smutty

Lizzylou · 20/01/2010 14:34

Vinny, when is the Dent Festival (presuming you mean Dent nr Ingleton/Kirby Lonsdale), that is v near where PILs caravan is?

VinegarTits · 20/01/2010 14:42

It is now called the Sedburgh Festival, as its been moved to a bigger field, its a beautiful location
