My family are all Liverpool- DP's are Everton. We can never marry

Mamazon- tis tricky without hi-res shot to try any shenagins on Photoshop. A painting is possible but vair expensive due to time it would take. Could do a decent mockup shot in person though with the right lighting etc if you could make it up this way?

mamazon · 19/01/2010 23:44

thats what i mean, i pose in the chair and someone takes shot to recreate that pic.

Ive tried myself but it always looks rather pants. need someone a bit more arty who knows about lighting and what not.

Im sure i could come up your way if needs be.

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 19/01/2010 23:45

Now that is a killer Bof. Bet it is interesting in your household on derby day.

Going to have another attempt at this sleep thing. nught all.

jaquelinehyde · 19/01/2010 23:50

God you lot talk!

I would love to come to a meet up, I've just got to talk DP into it first.

The 12th is good for me as I think all my Uni work is in by then, but I shall have to check.

I'm in the south east, so I will have to travel by train changing in London so could meet any other London people and head up together.

mamazon · 19/01/2010 23:52

im south east too (i think - Gatwick?) so am happy to meet people en route

BitOfFun · 19/01/2010 23:54

We'll set it up then Mamazon...off to bed now myself- night all

jaquelinehyde · 20/01/2010 00:14

Sounds good to me Mamazon, obviously it would be rude not to have a little drink on the train

Now I just have to get DP to agree, oh and pay for the hotel.

wastingaway · 20/01/2010 00:46

It's taken me a bloody hour to catch up with this thread!

Meet-up sounds good, will have to have a thinky though as DS still boobed to sleep and never been left overnight etc. etc.

I did some Wii Fit tonight.

Ballerinos have fabulous arms/shoulders see here

jetcatisfrozen · 20/01/2010 07:45

morning all

cant believe we have another new thread!

I am somewhat poorly today, and have been since yesterday - dodgy tummy i think At least if i keep being sick, the weight will come off quicker

Hope everyone is well, and will catch up later

DreamsInBinary · 20/01/2010 08:37

Morning

DH thinks I'm mental to get excited about meeting "a load of women you don't even know". Pfft, what does he know?

I haven't read The South Beach Book yet (pesky thread keeping me otherwise occupied) so have had fruit and yoghurt for breakfast. Full fat stuff, since I only have a tablespoon or so, and the diff in calories is negligable.

hellsbelles · 20/01/2010 09:13

ok...down to 10 stone 3 and a 1/2 today. So 10 stone is getting closer. But going to a massive pissup 'do' tonight so may be back up to 10 and a half by t/m!

no fruit young woman and certainly not full fat yoghurt. Eggs, eggs, eggs for you in the morning!

Jet - poor you. Yes - there is a small silver lining to poorly tummies!

ShowOfHands · 20/01/2010 09:15

It's like you're all speaking another language. I was at home with twc and lusting over certain men, I even understood roughly what the South Beach Diet was about.

Mamazon, I'm sorry to hear about your dp. Redundancy is cruel. Now, I don't know who DB is and I'd rather eat a live tarantula with a side of earwigs than look at CBB/BB but I've gathered he's a peanut-dicked twonk. That tells me all I need to know. It rather reminds me of that sleb twaddle thread where there were lots of juicy secrets and I desperately wanted to be excited by them but I have no idea who is doing what to whom, with what and against which laws. Although I did understand the hj, gc and jt are fod references. There my knowledge of slebs ends.

LOL at Manchester being 'in the middle'. Of hell. I admit I've only been there once. Overnight. Stuck. Waiting for a train to Sheffield. Oh the horrors. Very, very, very drunk, leering men. I was young and impressionable.

So, dieting tips I has. Have a child, give up work to write book, idle about on MN so said book isn't written in good time, rely on dh's coppers wages, have too much month at the end of the money, live solely on potatoes out of the back field. It's a lifestyle commitment but that's dieting for you.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 20/01/2010 09:28

I think I'm DYING, or I have caught something from VT (apart from sore eyes from clicking on your links!!)

AND YOU Korma..I ask you.......

If there is a meet up in June then count me in...any date will do, let me know where and when..I will start a little 'pot'.

My DC's are evil at the moment, is it just mine or is there something in the water?

Kick boxing was brilliant last night, very focussing.

NormaSknockers · 20/01/2010 09:44

Morning all,

I am most impressed by your sexcapades - I'm very dull & boring by comparrison!

Right - I AM back on the diet wagon today, I have to get a grip on this. I had a Christening on the 7th Feb, a night away with DH on the 27th March & a very big, posh wedding (i which DD is flower girl) in August so I must shift this weight so I can look gorgeous thin in the photos!

NormaSknockers · 20/01/2010 09:45

had? Have obviously!

Oh what a bum Sazz!

jetcatisfrozen · 20/01/2010 10:39

sorry about your DH mamazon Fingers crossed he finds something else soon.

Shiney and hells- well done on the loss

The meet up - i would love to come, if:-

1 - ex will swap weekends for the girls
2 - i have enough money Cant afford or
justify £160 for a hotel
3 - I am actually brave enough to come and
meet you all
4 - you actually want me to come!

oh, and i am not a snorer, buti have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine on a night - which is a very attractive look But, it is either that or snore loud enough to wake the entire street!

I do love the idea of a meet, but all my anxieties have kicked in, and as well as finding the money (a big ask at the moment) i really dont know if i feel i would be interesting enough to warrant an invite

DreamsInBinary · 20/01/2010 11:09

Jet, that's crazy talk! I can confidently say that we would all love to meet you!

Ha ha at Norma's "Oh, what a bum Sazz". I read it as "Wow, look at your fab arse, Sazz" [12 yr old emoticon]

jetcatisfrozen · 20/01/2010 11:11

thanks DIB - i think it is plain to see i am not feeling well - way to many emotes in one post lol!

Georgimama · 20/01/2010 11:24

Not lost anything so far this week.

Am not going to cock it up by doing my usual week 3 temper tantrum eating frenzy. This attempt at losing weight is just following the usual pattern of previous attempts - I am not going to respond in kind. I am showing this fat arse who is boss, yes I am.

I would love to come for a meet up but I think I may have used up all my "dump child and piss off on expensive jolly with mates" credits for the next millenium by pissing off to Las Vegas for five days in March.

We have more snow but fortunately I had a scheduled day off anyway as mum has gone to Oz for six weeks. CM couldn't do today so I am here instead. And - drumroll - DS seems to have finally cracked the idea that he poos in the toilet, not his pants. Apologies for toilet talk but if you've ever toilet trained a nearly 3 year old you will understand.

Blimey it is quiet on here.

Brought my breakfast to work with me - ww bread toasted with marmite on. Had some blueberries and a banana too. Having the couscous salady thingy for lunch.

I am going out tonight, but driving so only one glass of wine. I need to make sure my meal has the least amount of points in that I can get away with. Have saved a few up though, so hopefully it will balance out. I just don't want to get back on those scales next week and find I have not lost.

bellavita · 20/01/2010 11:31

I agree with Sazz jet on the silly talk!

DreamsInBinary · 20/01/2010 11:57

I have been inspired by Squeezey, and am going to bingo tonight with my sister
