Eat fruit and vegetables - 10/10 thread BOOTCAMP, all welcome

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Took DS to a bbq at my sis's boyfriend's sister's house and when the host shouted at her 7 yr old, DS went up and said, "Excuse me but I don;t think it was very nice to shout at X because now he feels sad and I think you're a bit rude"

DH was working on our extension yesterday and we were umming and ahhing over having an en-suite in our room or a bigger bedroom. I stamped my feet and insisted on an ensuite. I know it sounds all very spoilt brat like, but I wanted a me me me room. That ensuite will be mine. No one will be allowed to poo in it apart from me! It will be my haven. I fantasise about how I will decorate it.

at the thought of one's very own throne. I'm with you TooT about pre-warmed seats... eeewwww... dh had a car once that had heated seats, I used to hate having them switched on because it reminded me of exactly that .

I am not missing my Proper Job at all. I thought I might, I work with nice people in a good atmosphere but as it turns out I rather like being at home.

I have serious cake/choc cravings today which I'm attempting to fend off with fruit. So far I've had three nectarines and two good handfuls of grapes. It ain't working. The ice cream van should be round shortly...

oh it must be a whizzing in and out day! I see Franny was here!

Summer hectic but fun - lots of stuff. Got bit sad when spending lots of time with happy people in functioning relationships but also got lots of pleasure from those small children of mine being bonkers.

Back to school, work etc. on wednesday - not looking forward to do it.

also forgot to write my thesis - damn.

I did get to spend a wonderful few hours with the divine boco who i adore much.

can one put broad beans in over the winter does anyone know? i think my pumpkins possibly weren't pumpkins they are growing away but look more like round courgettes most peculair...

Are they some other sort of squash perhaps Mayor? We've given up with our pumpkins. The little pumpkins kept falling off (possibly aided by curious 5yo hands).
