For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

That's better, Toot. Fab pics. DD2 looks gorgeous. I want to squish her but she is far too young to be going to school. As a teacher, it never bothered me but now I am a parent and have just applied for DS to go to school next year, I think they are far too young to go at 4 DD1 looks SO cool. Love her new hair.

How funny that Mayor and Toot have met without even realising!

And Boco - your DD2 looks so lovely. All proud and excited and shiney shoed. I'd love to see your website

Happy Birthday, baby Lemur

Day 4 of work and I am at home, in bed. Sudden really high temperature & crippling cough. Feel bit pathetic to not even have managed a full week. I've only had 3 days off work in my entire working life so this is shit.

OP posts:
Boco · 09/09/2009 09:11

Oh dear Bunny, do you think it's dreaded pig flu? Hope you feel better soon.

have just done online form for dd2 to go to scool next year - she is only little...waaaaah

though havng said that she has asked both yesterday and today when it is time for nursery and been most disappointed when i've told her it isn't her day for it. charming.

SuperBunny · 09/09/2009 13:51

Thought I posted earlier but I can't see it - according to the swine flu pandemic website I have swine flu with complications and have an authorisation number for antivirals which I must not pick up myself. But its all too complicated & I have no-one to get them for me so I am going to stay in bed and sleep it off.

DS asked over the weekend if he could go to nursery rather than stay with me. Obviously, I am glad that he likes it there but

OP posts:
Boco · 09/09/2009 14:48

Oh dear SB, you poor thing. If you call the pharmacy they should be able to drop it off for you - that's what my friend had to do. Hope you feel better soon, it sounds awful.

Don't be sad about what your ds said, it's really good that you made such a confident little boy who can't wait to explore and make friends. It's quite a compliment really.

SuperBunny · 09/09/2009 15:10

Pharmacy said if I go up, they'll do it but will make me wait outside! So, that's ok. I just feel like a bit of a leper. I'm assuming nursery aren't going to be pleaSed that DS has been there all day - wonder what their policy is. I could really do with him NOT being here tomorrow.

OP posts:
ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 09/09/2009 19:42

Hope you feel better soon SB.

How the hell do they expect people with flu to get to a bloody pharmacy?

How is the job going SB? And is being in Blighty all you expected it to be?

Love love LOVE the website Boco. What a talent! Wow. I would to be able to draw. Infact I would love to have a talent/passion. Apart from being a mum I've never really found a passion

banana
blueberries
smoothie
carrots x2
cauliflower
onion
humous
strawberries
apple

Has TF been quite for a few day?

I have lots of today

FrayedKnot · 09/09/2009 20:40

Hello

OH SB hope you feel better soon. It's great that DS is happy to be at nursery because you need to rest! What bad luck when you have just started your new job.

I am that Mayor & TooT have met and realized but didn;t realize.

Yes, it is suspiciously quiet on the Tiger front, isn;t it....

And Lemur happy belated birthday to DS for yesterday. Sounds like you had a lovely day.

I thought I saw Pointy here a couple of days ago? Pointy where and how are you?

And is Guad still moving house?

SuperBunny · 09/09/2009 21:07

lol @ snouty

Work was good for the 3 days I managed. Think it will be ok - perhaps not the most challenging but certainly different.

dogonpoints · 09/09/2009 22:52

I am here. We are all risen from the dead.

SuperBunny · 10/09/2009 11:01

You ok, pointy?

OP posts:
FrayedKnot · 10/09/2009 12:48

Pointy I love your new name, it makes me think of John Burlingham style dog with oversized pink point shoes on.

They are gluing down some vinyl in the building I work in and it smells foul.

Am flinging open windows.

MayorNaze · 10/09/2009 13:05

bonjourno

think i have scared Toot off...

i have also notied the absence of tiger but am suspecting it is due to the imminent patter of tiger feet...dya think she had a 9-9-9 birth??!!!

how are the germs SB?

so far today peach, blueberries and soup. far to much cake

forgot to add yesterday i did Whole Hour of davina dvd...oh yes...

MayorNaze · 10/09/2009 13:13

anyone seen moll lately?

SuperBunny · 10/09/2009 13:22

There are lots of people missing, aren't there? Where IS Moll? I miss wombling too. I will go and check Tiger's FB status. Yesterday she was still waiting. Mayor, are you on FB?

OP posts:
TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 10/09/2009 14:56

Hi... come across Molly briefly occassionally on FB, new term, new school and all that.

F and V average about 7/8 usually same old stuff,

Don't thik you hAVE SCARED tOOT OFF MAYOR, THURSDAY CAN BE QUITE A BUSY DAY FOR HER...(oops, caps)

TigerFeet · 10/09/2009 15:42

Still here! Sans baby, well on the outside anyway.

RL non pregnancy stuff going on, so haven't been online much.

3 RL friends/aquaintances have had their babies over the past week. It seems to have had a detrimental effect on my mental state. I am not doing the waiting thing very well at all

EDD is Saturday so not sure why I am being so hormonal. Not even overdue yet.

dogonpoints · 10/09/2009 17:13

I fine, bunny.

When's the due date, tiger?

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 10/09/2009 19:24

Right from the start I convince myself I will be overdue, so by 40 weeks I'm not a gibbering wreck who is gagging for the baby to come - it seems to work!

banana x2
blueberries
carrots
cauliflower
humous
pepper
mushrooms
sweetcorn
tomatoes

10 fuh and vuh - hurrah. Fuck all exercise though, so no sticker - boo.

SuperBunny · 10/09/2009 20:36

I'd forgotten we were meant to discuss F&V. Since getting SW, I have not wanted to eat but gave in to my strange craving for white sliced bread and bought a loaf of Kingsmill It's not really bread, is it?

Had stir fry today so that was a bit of F&V and will eat more tomorrow.

No exercise because I can't breathe and I'm not allowed out

OP posts:
SuperBunny · 10/09/2009 20:48

SW = SF

OP posts:
TigerFeet · 10/09/2009 21:11

How are you feeling SB? I've been so self absorbed recently . I have been thinking of you, what shitty timing . Have you got your meds? I'm loving white sliced bread atm too. Warburtons far superior imo but it doesn't fit in the toaster very well.

I hope BabyLemur enjoyed his birthday

Pointy EDD is Saturday. 27 hours away [obsessed]

I've been willing myself to hang on until now, we only just yesterday finished rearranging bedroom furniture and so forth. I don't know why I suddenly feel like this. Probably because I know people who have given birth and I'm the only one left up the duff. I went to visit my friend on the maternity ward this afternoon, and she was sharing a ward with someone else I know, so I got a cuddle of both their babies .

ABitWrong · 10/09/2009 21:15
