....and all flame could say when I text her to say I was scared was - "have you told them that you will have lots of spare shoes and your jeans will hang funny"

that is so NOT the calming words of a friend is it

so, anyone else there for sypmathy??

please

((ps, not really legless. I had a mole on my inner right thigh that had gone itchy and 'teardrop' shaped, so the dermatoligist(sp?) doc said it needed to be removed, and siad he wanted it done today .........the anaesthetic is wearing off now tho and my leg feels odd....))

awww
faaaanks

you still coming to see me then
even though I have manky teeth and washing ishoos?

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 20:01

assuming that my leg stays intact, and DH agrees (still working on him as he is fretting), then bloody right I am.

got it penciled in and everythin (10th aug)

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 20:04

yay!

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 20:08

if it helps, I have teeth ishoos. I knocked out my top main tooth when I was 8 (just came thru, so no root to save it), and so thne needed a false tooth for a long time until I hit my teens and then had braces to move my teeth about. I still have a single lonely top main tooth, and altho no-one ever claims they notice, I am conscious of it!!

DH says I can pay to have my teeth done, but TBH, I want our extension done and paid for more, so content myself with what I have.

and washing.....I love doing laundry......I will catch you right upgrin]

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 20:09

I don;t have a gap BTW, am not a toothless old crone..........they made my three top teeth all move next to each other, so disguise the fact.

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 20:10

oh wow
someone who loves laundry
I may not let you leave

and its very kind of you to share your teeth ishoo

I seem to remember that only 4 little psychos are coming

so how old are the ones that are coming?

and have you warned them I'm a little weird?

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 20:12

lol scaring me off at all
I get what you mean

I have bugs bunny teeth, you know when the top front two are longer than the rest

funnily though, it wasn't till I was married that dh pointed it out and laughed at me

I was teased at school for lots of reasons but never my teeth.....thanks dh...

and the washing and cleaning teeth ishoos are because of long standing depression
I have lost focus of what is important about looking after myself
but I am getting help and I dont live in squalor or anyhting

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 20:13

that should say not scaring me off at all...

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 20:16

oh god, you have all run away

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 20:20

tis fab you you are getting on top of everything

@ your DH tho!! my DH makes fun of my knees...........(my knee's 'lock', so my legs look as tho they bend backwards. soooooo, if I sit on the floor with my legs out straight, and put the backs of my knees flat on the floor, my ankles are about 3inches in the air.

not making myself look very attractive am I.

children coming would be DD2 (13), DD3 (10), DS1 (9) and DS2 (he will be 7 by then)

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 20:22

ooooh so exciting

you have to show me the knee thing lol

how am I going to entertain the children

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 20:25

with 'friends'.....seriously, they all love it

balls and space for the boys.

my girls will be fine with your girls. they mix lots with small people, and never any issues with boredom, I promise.

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 20:26

I'm not scared or fed up Trinity! I like feeling needed , so you being needy works very nicely

That's a crazy knee thing Psycho, you must have very loose hamstrings. Mine are tight, so if I sit with my legs flat on the floor I can't put my body at 90 degrees cos the backs of my legs won't do it.

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 20:28

oh good, I was hoping that they would like small children

dd1 is 9 and crazy
dd2 is 4 and loves to be with big girls
dd3 will pretend to be shy but can be won over with promises of going on the trampoline with someone

we have a huuuge garden, dog, 10ft trampoline, sandpit and too many toys

I think we will be ok

BCNS · 04/06/2009 20:29

rhino.. your doing a fab job with thing IMO and good on you too!
LOL psycho is famous on here for her ocd with hanging out washing lol.. one of the first threads I spoke to her on.. and when I hang mine out the thought of that thread makes me chuckle every time!

ohhh psycho I got lax ligaments too.. totally impresses physios who always get me to bend different bits of my body for them.. and they then comment on how I should have grown out of it ( last time was at ds1 appointment )

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 20:29

oh good trillian

wow you all have weird knee stuff going on

mine click and crunch, can I be in your gang?

Turbomouth · 04/06/2009 20:30

Sympathies about your mole removal, I have been there, it's not nice!

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 20:30

thanks BCNS

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 20:31

ooh, is that what it is....I always wondered.

I only know that when I did it once when I went for a weight training session (was hoping to see fit men), the instructor took one look and said that I couldn;t come back as he would not be responsable for any damage to my knees (( is for the lack of being able to look at the pretty men BTW)).

the physio I had last summer did comment on how 'loose' I was too..........might be why I injure easily

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 20:35

thankyou turbomouth. tis painful right now, and I keep having too due to the speed of the doc whipping it off. was not expecting it at all at the very first appointment, and I was already scared as they had sent a letter to bring my appointment forward too due to the letter my GP sent him.

still, fingers crossed all is fine and they just being fab docs

lol BCNS at remembering my OCD washing ishoos, and a too!!

I have many ishoooos I think, parking, washing, stacking my dishwasher, by bookshelves........

.......I need help!!

OP posts:
BCNS · 04/06/2009 20:35

want to learn something really impressive to do with knees??

if you have lax ligs.. sit down on floor/ bed.. with knees raise.. then get your dh to hold your calf and just behind your knee ( while he sits in front of you) and he will be able to pull and move the bottom part of you leg forward.. with out the rest of the leg moving it's quiet gross!

on a seripous note.. go back to the phsyio.. and get some stability exercises for the muscles around your joints.. helps a lot!

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 20:41

he suggested yoga would be good, or pilates.

I have been lazy distracted a lot tho (I blame MN personally),and haven;t gotten round to it.

I really should!!

maybe trillian should take on nagging me to get decent excersize(sp), altho not yet (due to the leg being chopped off)!

OP posts:
Turbomouth · 04/06/2009 20:42

Yes, thinking back to that scapel coming towards me makes me almost wibble too

Are they sending it off for analysis? Mine was, and thankfully came back as just being a mole. This was years ago now, but I'm guessing it must be common practice?
