((ps, not really legless. I had a mole on my inner right thigh that had gone itchy and 'teardrop' shaped, so the dermatoligist(sp?) doc said it needed to be removed, and siad he wanted it done today .........the anaesthetic is wearing off now tho and my leg feels odd....))

and I know my sister had loads of ops.. and I loved looking at all the stitches etc.. oh and i used to collect the stitches when she had them removed..all in little jars

although ds1 was very miffed when he wasn't allowed to keep his broken bone pins when they were taken out.

when your all healed.. make sure you put e45 or bio oil on your scar.. it'll help keep it from going hard

FWIW, I am not the best at healing........takes me forever for some reason.

at least none of you are gasping in shock at the bruising, which is what my friend and DH did!

vasaline will do it too.. it's just about keeping the tissue soft for a better less lumpy heal

and not gasping at the bruising.. as it doesn't look that bad .. sorry to rain on the bruising parade

TBH, I know it is sore, but the fact the DH is feeling lots of sympathy for me is enough.....I get waited on without complaint now
