So, I went for my mole appointment, and am now legless (well, ^almost^), and feeling very sorry for myself......

....and all flame could say when I text her to say I was scared was - "have you told them that you will have lots of spare shoes and your jeans will hang funny"

that is so NOT the calming words of a friend is it

so, anyone else there for sypmathy??

please

((ps, not really legless. I had a mole on my inner right thigh that had gone itchy and 'teardrop' shaped, so the dermatoligist(sp?) doc said it needed to be removed, and siad he wanted it done today .........the anaesthetic is wearing off now tho and my leg feels odd....))

Huh? That's like saying someone who changes the tone of their voice when talking 'interrupts the flow of the ocnversation'. It makes it more like real life, cos in RL I would have emphasised 'more' just like that!

And a 'huh?' for BCNS.

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 18:13

forget her psycho
she obviously hasn't read my needy threads
when I put gecko in the title so people will click who know me

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 18:13

that what I said. I told her that I typed like I spoke, and so inflected the words in the same way.

she she said it was attention seeking and needy.

nope, tis just me, and she is free to ignore me if she wishes.

the thread got pulled then

she was very mean!!

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 18:15

[pfft] at the meanie.

You are the only person I know who bolds and italicizes at the same time!

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 18:15

and flame often puts 'flamechick' or 'flameboy' in her titles for the same reason trinity

tis so that our fwends can find us

PLUS

it helps tho that hate us to be warned to fuck off!!!

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 18:15

oooh trillian, am I really??

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 04/06/2009 18:19

I also do it so I can find my own threads easier (chick/boy ones) - I tend to lose them

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 18:22

yes I do it for that reason too flame......honest

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 18:27

ooh, now that is a fab excuse reason

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 04/06/2009 18:28

Oi, am being honest! I can never remember where I decided to post my whingings about various children - searching their names and rough dates help

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 18:37

tis ok, I believe you.....

I do BTW, really truly

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 18:38

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 18:44

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 04/06/2009 18:50

I start a thread needing Very Important Advice.

A few hours later I have moved on to something else.

Then I remember (by the time it has dropped off my threads) that I asked for VIA and never went back to read replies or say thank you Hence the searching

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 18:51

we have had chilli con carne and trillian was debating what to have

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 18:59

Can't have dinner yet, DP got back and is sitting around looking at my computer while I MN and not going to vote. I can't do it til he has voted. Plus he is eating cheese and crackers. But he cycled to work today so I hop he will be hungry again soon.

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 19:17

DH is glaring at me

I don;t know what I want for dinner, and all his suggestions are being met with a sad face from me, as they are all wrong.

I really want BK, not sure if he agrees tho.....altho tis cubs and scouts night so he is out anyway..........

BCNS · 04/06/2009 19:42

(oops sorry.. was natting on here earlier whilst I was waiting for a client.. well all I'll say is he was an interesting client to say the least LOL)

psycho .. you are needy ( at the moment cos you are hungry and hurty ) but in a really nice way.

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 19:46

aww, fanks BCNS

I don;t care if I am needy in a way. I don;t do it for anything bar a little bit of attention, in the same way as if we met up at a coffee bar and were all sat around nattering. I would want to get my mates attention over the buzz of everyone else.

and lets be honest, MNers in general at all wanting attention.......how the hell else would the place survive otherwise

tis also nice to know I am noticable....

OP posts:
BCNS · 04/06/2009 19:48

agree totally.. and I would say for the majority on here it's a place where we are allowed to wave and say "over here".. because in RL it doesn't happen that often that we can

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 19:51

This is a good place to be needy, cos people can give as much as they feel like and no more. If yoou had a RL friend who was very needy and kept calling you up and coming round ot your hosue it might be annoying. Here if someone is a bit too much you can just stop replying or go do something else.

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 19:55

I'm glad my needyness isn't pissing anyone off yet
