....and all flame could say when I text her to say I was scared was - "have you told them that you will have lots of spare shoes and your jeans will hang funny"

that is so NOT the calming words of a friend is it

so, anyone else there for sypmathy??

please

((ps, not really legless. I had a mole on my inner right thigh that had gone itchy and 'teardrop' shaped, so the dermatoligist(sp?) doc said it needed to be removed, and siad he wanted it done today .........the anaesthetic is wearing off now tho and my leg feels odd....))

my nose is numb .. and everything seems cheerily in slow mo.. just like the matrix.. but istead of dodging bullets.. am am watching my fingers type very very slowly!

maring will be fine.. I can'r actually drink enough before I have to stop.. to get a hangover!

how's the leg now??? any better?

psychomum5 · 03/06/2009 20:33

tis feeling strange, and very cold too where the anaesthetic is (well, was, is wearing off now). throbbing lots where the doc kept pressing on it due to the bleeding.

can;t walk on it well either when I need to go toilet, dreading school-run tomorrow

OP posts:
BCNS · 03/06/2009 20:36

.. not got someone who could do that for you??.. the school run.. not go to the toilet for you.

psychomum5 · 03/06/2009 20:38

maybe.

altho, driving might be ok, then my friend could walk them to their classes

the weeing would indeed be an issue

TrillianAstra · 03/06/2009 20:56

See, you needed to have had the boys first so they would be big and strong by now to help you walk. Ickle girls are no good!

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 07:00

lol trillian

my leg hurts

bad night, and now lots of pain.

hey ho, day to watch DVDs guilt-free at least (good to look at the benefits)

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 08:23

Can I join you on the sofa? I'm supposed to go for a run (couhc to 5 k thingy) but feeling lazy.

What are we watching?

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 09:08

weeeeeeeeeeeellllllll

I have the entire friends collection, or the supernatural 4th season (came recently and have been saving it for a special occasion, and this counts), or just my faves......harry potter, narnia, lost boys, dirty dancing, pretty woman, grease.......

you choose

I have lovely memories of going to parties when DP and I lived separately, and then spending Sunday on the sofa with all his housemates watching Friends DVDs. I once had an eye appointment at 2pm one of these Sundays, came back after an hour (with supplies) and none of them had moved.

Haven't seen Supernatural, but I've been watching Dollhouse on Flame's recommendation.

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 09:33

have not yet found dollhouse, altho I really wanna watch it. is it actually on TV, or is it download??

friends is FAB, and always guaranteed to cheer me up!

OP posts:
BCNS · 04/06/2009 09:35

morning.. hows little leggy this morning??

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 09:44

It is actually on TV, but on some stupid channel, so I am downloading. I like it lots, but I am a fan of the one Flame refers to as 'wet dog face' (Eliza Dushku)

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 10:00

I like her too. will have to hunt it down then.

BCNS, leg HURTS.

really really HURTS!!!

stings in parts too, assuming that is where the stitches are??. tis going to be a big scar too I think. I described it all to DH last night, and he reckons that because of the size of the mole, and how big the dressing is, plus the fact that I have 6 stitches, he reckons I have a gouge of about 3inches!

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 04/06/2009 10:02

Tis on sci fi - they are about 3 eps in. Think it is 8pm on a sunday night

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 10:13

oooh fanks

will have to remember it now tho.....brian not always on high function come sunday night!

OP posts:
BCNS · 04/06/2009 10:38

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 10:40

SIX STICHES!!!!!!
HOLY SHIT

thats not at all nice

how are you feeling this morning?

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 10:57

feeling very sorry for myself .

altho I have guilt-free sitting on my bum all day

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 11:03

Six stitches? Ow, not nice.

Trinity since you're here: have you eaten, taken pills, brushed any teeth yet today?

(I am being Trinity's nagging mum for a bit)

TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 11:06

I have taken pills and eaten
no showers or brushed teeth

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 11:09

Well that's a good start.

How's the bum-sitting psycho? Bored yet? Fancy a bit of trolling?

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 11:10

so why you being nagging mum??

and why you not brushed teeth yet??

((hoping you both know who I am directing the Q's at))

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 11:11
