So, I went for my mole appointment, and am now legless (well, ^almost^), and feeling very sorry for myself......

....and all flame could say when I text her to say I was scared was - "have you told them that you will have lots of spare shoes and your jeans will hang funny"

that is so NOT the calming words of a friend is it

so, anyone else there for sypmathy??

please

((ps, not really legless. I had a mole on my inner right thigh that had gone itchy and 'teardrop' shaped, so the dermatoligist(sp?) doc said it needed to be removed, and siad he wanted it done today .........the anaesthetic is wearing off now tho and my leg feels odd....))

having trouble psycho
for a long time

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 11:16

Cos she needs one

What's it called when it's a proper thing? Accountability. That's it. Like when you have an addiction or something, you have someone who reminds you and asks you how you're doing etc.

I would ask through facebook rather than broadcasting 'Trinity has manky teeth' to the whole of MN but she hasn't switched it on and this seemed like a safe place.

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 11:19

awww

for trinity, pat on the back for trillian

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 04/06/2009 11:22

you going to have fashioned your manky chicken leg be able to walk by the end of august??

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 11:25

bloody hope so trinity. tis my driving leg, needs to be normal ASAP!!

plus, am off to brighton in a couple of weeks with a mate for her 40th birthday, I wanna be able to walk then too!

am slightly scared of the scarring tho, altho it is high enough to be hide-able. might be that a chicken leg will look more pretty

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 11:27

Driving leg? I need both legs to drive, don't know about you.

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 11:28

ah, but I have an automatic, so my left leg is redundant......((see, I couldn;t have had my mole on that leg could I))

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 11:32

of people with automatics. They're so easy.

You could try using the left leg, but I wouldn't recommend it! Does DD1 start driving soon?

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 11:45

driving with left leg would indeed be scary. especially as I seem to be a magnet for people who like to drive cars into other cars!!!

and no, DD1 is not nearly able to drive. thank-bloody-god............the thought of her behind the wheel would terrify me.

she is back to normal now BTW since her little 'lets terrify mummy' trip. she is argueing back again.....tis joyful

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 12:07

Was she quiet and subdued for a bit then?

She can get a moped when she's 16 - I had one! Think that was mostly cos we lived in a village with no buses and parents couldn't be bothered to drive me anywhere any more.

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 12:12

yes, she was lovely for a whole week

well, I say that.......was a crappy reason to be lovely, so seemed most odd. (IYGWIM).

she is still lovely now TBF, just with her normal gobbyness.

no no no no NO with the moped tho. and NO!! some more. tis waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too busy round these parts for her to go on a moped. altho, I am thinking she is not a moped girl anyway. the rolls her eyes when the boys go silly over cooing at motorbikes.....like this-->>.......

OP posts:
BCNS · 04/06/2009 12:20

come to entertain again ( waiting for a client to turn up a bit later on )..

agreee with no moped!!!

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 12:21

oooh, forgot to ask, how is your head BCNS??

OP posts:
BCNS · 04/06/2009 12:23

It's fine LOL.. I can't actually drink enough to get a hangover.. I go stupid.. I get drunk ears and a numb nose and then I fall alseep LOL.. was snoring away by 9.30 last night

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 12:27

what do drunk ears do then (or look like....and how can you tell??)

am loving the numb nose. I (for some weirdy freak reason) often go red with a white nose, like some freaky rudolph in reverse

OP posts:
BCNS · 04/06/2009 12:32

I don't think my ears look drunk.. ( not noticed them go all floppy ).. but I know.. because everything sounds like I'm underwater!

drunk ears and numb nose means stop drinking!

@ reverse rudolph!

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 12:34

I just like to mention them to scare parents of teens

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 12:39

BCNS, I have been feeling as tho I ahve been underwater for a few weeks now (hayfever I think is causing it>. would be a crap way of detecting drunkeness in me, I would therefore qualify as being it all the time!

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 12:45

[hugs]

I really hope my fwends are still here (and still my fwends) when I do have babies.

I'll hopefully get a job sometime between now and then so won't be on here quite as much as I am now!

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2009 12:47

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 12:57

psychomum5 · 04/06/2009 13:15
