For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

  1. Just caught up with Riga. Psychologists are the worst. I have it on good authority. I'd leave them at the banquet and slink off with the nutty social workers and spacey therapists to the disco.
pointydog · 27/04/2009 22:27

plus I can now add 2 oranges to my list which makes a very impressive total.

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2009 22:27

molly did sharing about her wee and you all just GRINNED at her
i would have been publicly STONED if that had been me

"Also in the Gellert turkish baths in Budapest I discovered that when you are old all your pubic hair falls out"

Oh how that tiny bit of information has cheered me, 100, when I thought nothing could

And nobody tops my coloured wee story with DS when I took him to emergency surgery insisting he had copious blood in his urine

Then remembered he had eaten large quantities of beetroot the day before

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2009 22:29

i am changing the OP next week to see if any of you bastards notice
i think the point of the thread is to tease and annoy me

Thank you for the wimples. I pick tiger's second choice, although it's going to be challenging on the plane.

Good job someone is checking the lists - couscous? FGS Molly, no.

Hello Toot. It wasn't intentional with the team of psychologists, was invited by just the one, and she did all the booking and sorting, didn't realise about all the others coming too until some time later. Today.

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2009 22:30

see? MORE WEE SHARING
TooT and I were shunned for WEEKS

OP posts:
Boco · 27/04/2009 22:33

That was poo Franny, not wee. YOu and toot described you fecal matter in great detail and some of us did retching. And you are always so good at pointing out when it's not appropriate to discuss vomit - and yet you made some of us do a bit in our mouths.

TooTicky · 27/04/2009 22:35

Phew Boco,I thought you had gone dangerously nutty

S'okay Franny,we will whipout thepoo chart when they are least expecting it...

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2009 22:35

right i shall slink off to bed yet again shamed and squashed

TooTicky · 27/04/2009 22:36

TooTicky · 27/04/2009 22:37

pointydog · 27/04/2009 22:57

night, ticky, I'm off to bed

SuperBunny · 28/04/2009 03:41

Rereads OP for the first time in, well, about a year...

ahundred made a good point - if I ate 10 F&V INSTEAD of other stuff, I might lose weight but it is a bit silly to expect to be slimmer if I am eating it in ADDITION to the other crap.

nicky, if nothing else, 10/10 does give you something to focus on when your life is falling apart. Or at least it does for me. It's good to have something to focus on.

Avi - did the people who liked the house not realise how far away it was when they came to look? I used to walk more than 3 miles to school everyday. It's not very far really - my 3 yr old can walk that far.

I always quite fancied going to Riga or somewhere in Eastern Europe except not Poland because they can be scary there.

Dinner (at work) involved:

mozzarella sticks
mexican fudge (cheese, eggs, taco sauce)
7 layer dip (sour cream, cheese)
CELERY with blue cheese smooshed down the middle
mini bagel pizza
chocolate fondue

I think I buggered up my non-dairy thing. Again.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 28/04/2009 08:25

You are all deliciously mad... and have started my day with a big ....

still too busy too contribute greatly but read threads enthusiastically.

Was feeling bolloxed awful but seem to have been catapulted into the day with moderate enthusiasm...

I am infection free Huzzah!!!!!!

Bin to prague....fab but a particularly horrendous D and V story......let me know when you are doing vom sharing and I will make your toes curl lol.....

Byeeeee for now, great days to all...xx

TigerFeet · 28/04/2009 08:28

Morning all, just checking in before school run.

Great news about infecton freeness Mitsu

God SB that dinner sounds lush

Apple juice + spatone

That's it so far. Have a good day all

FrannyandZooey · 28/04/2009 08:42

i honestly did not describe it so that was a bit harsh
sorry toot for slinking off
MW (and anyone) the reason why I say don't discuss d+v type things is that we have some emetophobes on the thread
and just some normal people who don't like bodily function talk, except, it would seem, wee, which is ok
but i haven't got anything to say about wee so i will keep schtum

LOL at nobody ever reading the OP
i don't know why it is there really
for new people i suppose
except new people always come on and say "what is this thread about, can i eat nuts?"
so perhaps i could scratch it and put some smiths lyrics there or something

I KNOW
me and toot could talk about what we wanted on there
no-one reads it anyway

Like the title, are you all a bit UB40 obsessed though? That's the second one in not too long, I think...

I am continuing in my mission to grow a baby entirely out of ch**se. I'd tell you I ate coconut today but you probably wouldn't count it anyway would you?

How is everybody? How's pink w the not-so-new-now baby? Can I have a one-post update so I don't have to scroll through all the wee arguments?

FrannyandZooey · 28/04/2009 08:52

oh it's toot mango, she is obsessed, yes
erm boco is going to eastern europe to be fallen in love with
mrsc ate foam and they were stingy with the cheese
mw is feeling better

oh i am rubbish at this i don't really pay attention properly

OP posts:
mangolassi · 28/04/2009 09:20

No, it's intriguing, boco especially. Foam-eating not so much, tbh.

FrannyandZooey · 28/04/2009 09:29

oh well i beg to differ
it was one of those culinary foams like heston thingy does
i have always wanted to try one and see what it is
i mean is it just stuff whipped up? foam doesn't sound totally appetising does it
but i think very intriguing
guad please come back and tell MORE about the foam
no i am not teasing

OP posts:
Boco · 28/04/2009 09:32

I had a pea foam in posh restaurant in the Barbican once. It did just taste like pea foam. (not pee foam) I don't really understand the foam thing.

Franny I'm sure it wasn't that bad, I was only teasing you.
