For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

But I want him to be able to join the Navy if he wants to

Guadalupe · 13/03/2009 21:34

It was funny, Avi. Then I cried shortly after.

Claudia Winkleman looks like a stick in a doily. What has she done to herself.

ds2 eschews the baby slide in favour of pushing past big kids to fly at great speed down a 12 foot slide giving me a heart attack.

TooTicky · 13/03/2009 21:40

Pink, ds2 won't be able to fly planes or be an astronaut, both of which interest him, but there are lots of other possibilities. And opportunities for gentle steering.

Yes, he can drive canal boats and swanky dutch barges.

TooTicky · 13/03/2009 21:42

Right. My hair. I rather want to keep a lengthy forelock, for fiddking with and hiding behind and generally just having, but want rather little elsewhere. Is there a plausible way of doing this?

FrannyandZooey · 13/03/2009 21:43

Atilla is waving from her bed and sending a grin and has dared me to streak

TooTicky · 13/03/2009 21:45

Oh thank you Avi. So simple and yet it hadn't occurred to me
