For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

he he, he means it in a nice way, it's something we laugh about! I like films and books that spell out what is going on. I don't like to have to think about things too deeply and I like the plot to be easy to follow and all of the ends neatly tied up. However dh likes a good meaty film that makes him think and challenges him.

Ah well, you using the words exaggerated and ridiculous rings a bell with me. I get annoyed with things that aren't real or believable.

FrannyandZooey · 12/03/2009 19:28

oh bloody hell a woman with a newborn baby has finished it before me
i am going to be last at this rate

Will catch up, but not only have I just seen my son and three of his friends playing chicken, on the busy road outside our house...(rush hour, empty wagons at relative speed) but they had put a hessian bag over the boys head...... I feel very sick, and shouted at them all, in public.

I am at a loss for words now..

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 12/03/2009 19:35

The clettering stick - well you see. In my mind he is just stupid for using a stick to wash the dishes when he could use a mop.

I sound like I've had a sense of humour bypass don't I?!

What did you have done to your hair pink ? I'm v impressed. It took me 4 months to get to the hairdressers after Baby Lemur!

Guadalupe · 12/03/2009 19:51

at chicken in a sack. I hope you beat them.

I haven't written a review yet but I will.

Franny - yes to CCF but no fucking way to OwEN Wilson so I am afraid I am deviating from your correlation.

PINK! Life Aquatic not storyless! Lost in translation was, but life aquatic very very clear story - about finding shark and revenging death of friend, with Ned, and the accountant who is the Harold from Harold and Maud! I love it because it's brilliant, the sets, the costumes, the music, I wanted SO much to be in Team Zisou and wear matching outfits. Love Angelica Houston, love Owen, love the portugese David Bowie songs. I can only assume it's lack of sleep making you deranged.

When last in London a friend's boyfriend explained how he judges whether or not he can be friends with someone based on if they like the life aquatic. It made me like him hugely.

BBBee · 12/03/2009 20:01

(not here)

(my book came today - it is all real and proper!)

(anticipation....)

BBBee · 12/03/2009 20:02

GreenBib · 12/03/2009 20:06

how cna you not find that you HAVE to finish it in a wekeend.
As I said to 100 times i do things fast, oyu dont get to be Head Girl without being fast

Boco · 12/03/2009 20:08

Was the first review yours then Speedy?

Boco · 12/03/2009 20:09

I am savouring. You don't get to enjoy it when you speed read. Head girls always so competitive.

Guadalupe · 12/03/2009 20:13

That's your excuse, I read in a few days without speed reading, mostly by torch light at night.

FrannyandZooey · 12/03/2009 20:26

I liked that bit, was one of my favourites.

pinkspottywellies · 12/03/2009 20:38

Bloody hell Attila! How stupid, I would have let rip at them all too.

Lemur, I didn't have to go to the actual hairdressers - my SIL does it It's blonder and shorter than it was. We think my hair's gone darker though cause my roots look a bit iffy

Franny, I have finished it cause newborn babies are easier than bigger ones. I just put dd to bed then sat and fed ds and read it. Although page 203 wasn't that bad. You are a sensitive little thing aren't you!

Tatties · 12/03/2009 20:39

I am ok. Well cheesed off about several things.

  1. We have effing fruit flies in our bedroom for some fucking reason
  2. Nursery situation turning out to be a bit of a bastard (trying to get ds in somewhere nice, that is, he's not even started yet)
  3. Ds shat his pants today (I see from skimming the thread that seems to be a bit of a current theme among the 10/10 boys)
  4. Yes I am premenstrual and it is all getting to me

But on a positive note, I got my counselling appt through (about a year earlier than I was expecting) so I should be able to sort through some of my issues

Bbbee - me and dp like Lost in Translation too!

Tatties · 12/03/2009 20:40

Sorry for self-indulgent whinge. Dp has already had to listen to it several times over but it was not enough

Guadalupe · 12/03/2009 20:42

You need visual pleasure, Tatties. Got any rhubarb?

Tatties · 12/03/2009 20:44

LOL guad. No I have none. I might go and knit. Haven't felt like knitting for a week

mollyroger · 12/03/2009 20:50

Will someone send me their copy when they have finished...? I am poor but vow to send 100 the roaylty from my non-purchased book when MY first book is published...

mollyroger · 12/03/2009 20:52

I want to commiserate with all your woes...I WILL.
But first i need to swap favourite CCF bits with people!

Mr Mybug! (god those rhodendrhon buds had an urgent, thrusting look...)
