For anyone who wants to boost their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - If you don't normally eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 mins is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restictions on what you eat as long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving your energy levels and hopefully mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you are getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

Typical, my computer decides to have internet problems just as Pink's situation was unfolding.

Hello Feather

TinySparklyWhiteFeather · 31/01/2009 20:36

Hi! How are you SB?

TooTicky · 31/01/2009 20:38

Feather how are you?

TinySparklyWhiteFeather · 31/01/2009 20:40

Did you run yesterday? I ran this morning and did a run that usually takes 52 mins in 41. I was absolutely thrilled. I ran normally one way, pushing a little and then 'sprinted' back.

Guadalupe · 31/01/2009 20:43

Pink - you can't absently over the web say to people who care about you that you are having headaches, blurred vision and itchy hands at this stage of pregnancy and expect them not to worry when you may or may not phone the midwife.

You'd have been an idiot if you hadn't. Having said that, I am very glad you are okay and having come to this after the furore I am pleased to know all is well.

TinySparklyWhiteFeather · 31/01/2009 20:43

I am doing OK Toot thank-you.

Concentrating very hard on getting back to normal and have set a challenge to be well by my 40th. And I want a challenge to aim for on the day before or after it.
