For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

TooTicky · 30/01/2009 07:56

SK, hope you feel better soon! Will have to update you later as ds2 is still sleeping and I must do something about it! xxxxxxx

BBBee · 30/01/2009 08:27

oh - it all feels a bit strange but familiar - like when you have had a filling and your mouth feels different.

good luck tootlet for today.

my core value in indecisiveness (but in a good way) i quite like it.

i talked to boco proper talking - see we did internet and real life.

i have to go - am making myself go to the library today as I did no work yesterday.

I am not planning on buying a vegetable pasty in town from the cornwall pasty do-dah, no. No-one is planning that.

Oh and I gave up coffee again - has been three days now. I have a headache.

Good luck tootlette

BBBee, your posts always make me chuckle.

I am running around like a mad woman this morning tidying up the house. I'm hosting a coffee morning and Ive realised my house isn't really baby proofed - oh shite. Oh well, if they find the bleach we're only 5 mintes away from A&E

f+v started well before sliding into a big pile of cheese. will start again today.

mollyroger · 30/01/2009 09:09

oh I not likey this. I'm staying here on this thread and tht's it. I am Luddite and proud of it. I'm too old for such change.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 30/01/2009 09:13

stop the press

I have had my thinking cap on for the next thread title and came up with:

There was something in the pear that night, the starfruits were bright, potato .....

It came to me in a flash of brilliance whilst feeding ds at 4.26 am today.

Please please please don't tell me you've had this before.

mollyroger · 30/01/2009 09:27

mangolassi · 30/01/2009 09:32

Please don't find a kate bush song to represent me... but can someone fill me in on this core values business?

TigerFeet · 30/01/2009 09:32

oh my fucking god

I don't like change [sob]

I'm off for a bath. It will be OK when I come back. Won't it?

mangolassi · 30/01/2009 09:34

and why is twf and mollyroger's song not available in my country? Does it insult the monarchy?

TooTicky · 30/01/2009 09:36

Oh I SEE the blue words are links I did not recognise, thrown by newfangledness.

Great stuff Molly I hadn't heard that before.

Love the horseshoe Stuffit - will show ds1 later.

Heavens I must fly or I shall miss ANOTHER bus!

FrannyandZooey · 30/01/2009 09:44

oh what fresh hell is this?

if anyone works out how to get it back, let me know

till then it's given me a headache, I HATE IT [luddite]

mollyroger · 30/01/2009 09:59

I can't read the titles. I cn't make it go ack to mumsner classics. I'm all discombobulated.

Boco · 30/01/2009 10:00

Mine was like that, but i just clicked on refresh and it all spaced out again, and the ad at the top popped back to the side where it should be. The only difference is the colour scheme now which is a bit muted.

mollyroger · 30/01/2009 10:10

mango - it was TubThumping by Chumbawumba. Probably too reactionary for your country... And it mentions the word piss.

Franny, I keep changing my mind over songs for you.

And I can't find the song I want for Boco yet.

oh! I remember 100's though
here!

And Fairlady I think is this
here

Boco · 30/01/2009 10:22

Molly Roger

mollyroger · 30/01/2009 11:05

Boco, that is ruddy marvellous and has made me very very happy!
Get out yer skull and crossbones and run it up yer mast...

Boco · 30/01/2009 11:11

Lol

dd2 just asked me what a 'muteus bastard' is.

I said someone who didn't do as they were told and she said 'so, am I a muteus bastard then?'

mollyroger · 30/01/2009 11:18

hahahah! Bless! Sorry, shpulfd have done a Parental Warning...

Guadalupe · 30/01/2009 11:29

Thank god you said that, Boco, I was squinting at the screen!! Horrible. This is okay now.

Molly - I can't hear or see my song on this computer but I will try again later when I het the laptop.

Two kiwis, an apple and some grapes.

I have put the two pounds back on again. This is painstaking.

TinyBlueFeather · 30/01/2009 11:30

Oh molly, I have just seen the song you picked as I was luking, and you have put a smile on my face.

I want to give you a big swampy hug, and buy you a pint, and give you a sticker and a sparkly bangle.

I shall dig it out and put it on my running playlist.
