For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

dark purple, loose knit, cowl neck but not too droopy, batwing sleeves.

Perfect with dary grey long sleeve t shirt underneath, skinny jeans, boots of some description and chunky accessories.

Yay!

I have one non work outfit sorted....

Also suspect it is made of plastic so won't need much washing

there were other colours, may go back and get a grey one too. I am obsessed with grey, this is odd, have never owned anything grey B4 this year. Now you can't move for it.

My best friends sister is having a party. The theme is grannies. Looking forward to dressing Isla up as a granny!

OsmosisBanana · 06/09/2008 21:20

can you summarise FMV? Am frantically hoovering so house not a shit-pit when we get back and have no time for anything else except beer

OsmosisBanana · 06/09/2008 21:22

moths everywhere...

filthymindedvixen · 06/09/2008 21:25

why do we all embrace colour in summer then as soonas autumn hits, we drape ourselves in grey and black and brown. Pah!

OsmosisBanana · 06/09/2008 21:39

No no - you must have missed my gleeful purchase of an eye bleedingly bright almost flouro orange twiggy style trench coat.

And my new yellow handbag.

No, I do colour. hence my confusion at the amount of grey in my wardrobe this year.

filthymindedvixen · 06/09/2008 21:40

I am losing my rag on another thread....remind me I can't tellpeople to fuck off, will you?

SuperBunny · 06/09/2008 21:45

LOL @ that thread

I am still wearing summer tops and sparkly flipflops. I will stop when it snows.

OsmosisBanana · 06/09/2008 21:50

why ever not? It is good for the soul.

People need to be told.

I am practising my speech for the irate passenger who complains about me and DD on sleazyjet tomorrow.

It will progress along the lines of 'fuck off'

filthymindedvixen · 06/09/2008 21:53

she/he is probaly being completely reasobale but she/he has completely fucked me off. And I am known for my affability on here generally...

filthymindedvixen · 06/09/2008 21:53

oh crap, look at my spelling!

OsmosisBanana · 06/09/2008 21:54

good grief FMV, you have a proper boat. I thought it might be a bit like Franny's DS1 sand boat

we want one. are thinking of starting with a cabin cruiser or summat. Avon and Kennet canal pub crawl anyone? Screw Wales. Joke...

filthymindedvixen · 06/09/2008 21:56

oh, our boat used to be on Avon and kennet. Twas utterly lovely, but sadly 4 hours' drive away. So me have moved it up north. The boat was free (a gift, long story) but is costs us a small fortune. See, I am a proper pirate, me!

SuperBunny · 06/09/2008 22:03

DS found a lipstick yesterday and proudly came to show me the result. He did a pretty good job, I think. Apart from ruining the lipstick. Photo on profile for a bit.

techittothelimit · 06/09/2008 22:05

he is incredibly cute, lippy notwithstanding!

yOU are so artistic!

Boco · 06/09/2008 22:15

I did jumper buying too today!
My mother gave me birthday money. A whopping £20. I bought a green cardigan, it's a bit war time evacuee look, but is nice. It cost more than £20 so I think I can wear it straight away . Dp took the girls to choose me a present but they were loud and riotous and he got cross so he brought them back and said it was not possible. Was a bit sulky about that in an irritatingly childish and spoilt way. Still, was worth it as i got to go and stroke pretty art books in the book shop on my own while they were all scrapping.

Boco · 06/09/2008 22:17

Very cute SB, he has a very cheeky smile.

OsmosisBanana · 06/09/2008 22:24

better job with the lippy than I tend to do. I have resigned myself to a life of lip balm.

At Beautiful Days I borrowed my incredibly vain best friends lip balm.

She said 'oh you've gone a bit over your lip line, do you want a mirror?'

At this point I scrawled it all over my face and said 'is that better?'

I can't remember if anyone laughed, I am laughing now remembering what a twat I am.

Tell me I'm funny. Funny annoying will do.

YY to war time cardi - that was my other option today. That kinda moss/sludge thick knit kind. Nice. Honestly. Want one.

OsmosisBanana · 06/09/2008 22:25

left out the vital bit of humour there

'tinted' lip balm.

IdrisTheDragon · 06/09/2008 22:31

Hello. Have just read about two days worth of F&V. And coach trip.

Am having ansty phase. May be related to forthcoming birthday (Monday). May be related to rain. May just be.

SuperBunny · 06/09/2008 22:36

Thank you, he does have a cheeky smile. He is very mischeivous. Tinted lipbalm probably safer, OB.

My sister and I once put make up on in the style of each other, so I put mine on like she usually did hers and she put hers on like me. She put v dark lisptick all over her face so that is obviously what I look like. Am just a clown.

Who is techittothelimit?

Hello Idris. Hope angstiness goes away soon. Can we help?

OsmosisBanana · 06/09/2008 22:52

spose should go to bed. taxi in 7 hours.

MamaG · 06/09/2008 22:55

Idris is it a significant birthday?
