We had peaches, we had plums, we had strawberries in the sun, but the peaches and the plums, like the strawberries are all gone - 10 / 10 thread

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Oh, yes, well it's silly to make Franny the all-seeing discipline monitor because it'd be very tiring for her and boring. So stop arsing about and being juvenile and get on the frigging bus.

When I skimmed thread someone had a life coach who kept ringing them up and telling them to fill in their passport application. Who was that? Not sure about that.

OsmosisBanana · 05/09/2008 20:52

Peoples Friend? Wow. I haven't read that one this week. IS it good? I have only had time for OK and New this week. Am falling behind.

FrannyandZooey · 05/09/2008 20:52

LOL oven vegetables
a good euphemism

thanks 100. am suitably chastened.

MimsieNet · 05/09/2008 20:53

it was me....

But I did acheive on-line grocery shopping and Paperwork on a Monday.

Boco · 05/09/2008 20:53

That was FMV. She got a free one too, off of mumsnet, who she fell in love with and got her to fill in forms.

i don't want to go to wales
and I don't want to sit next to the drinks dispenser
I want a window seat or I'll be sick

I'm not sitting next to Franny, she wont' take turns with the window seat. I'll sit with Bbee because she'll have a flask of good coffee and some snacks.

ahundredtimes · 05/09/2008 20:55

Wow. This could really be something then this life coach? Though - I love you FMV, you know that right - but a phone call about passport applications? Is this what they do? Didn't she empower you to dig for oil or something? But look, if you loved her [shrugs]

FrannyandZooey · 05/09/2008 20:57

you see? no-one wants to sit next to me
you all think I'm going to inspect your lunch boxes and tell you off
I'm telling 100 and she will be cross with you

I'm going to cancel this trip if you all keep sulking and moaning. And then you'll NEVER see the castles, or drink the Ribena I MADE SPECIALLY. And then I'm going to be powerfully passive aggressive and high maintenance and so YOU'LL HAVE TO COME.

[considers falling in love with a life coach instead]

Boco · 05/09/2008 20:57

Remember though, me and FMV got the ones that are free because they're practicing. They might be lovable but rubbish, only good at the small stuff, not covered empowerment until module 3, still on module 2 - forms, paperwork and general admin duties.

OsmosisBanana · 05/09/2008 20:58

what about north devon?

FrannyandZooey · 05/09/2008 20:58

(my sister is a life coach)

TigerFeet · 05/09/2008 20:59

oh lovely I love a bus

can I come?

Wales is a long way from Lincolnshire though

Shall we go to Cromer instead?

I have mint imperials and a flask of weak lemon squash

OsmosisBanana · 05/09/2008 20:59

just being annoying. north devon ain't all that.

MimsieNet · 05/09/2008 20:59

Ok, to be fair, she did try to empower me to start my own business. But, in usual FMV under-achieving fashion , I decided to aim for something more idle easy fast...

OsmosisBanana · 05/09/2008 21:00

i'd like to go to cromer. they have crabs n stuff yes?

TigerFeet · 05/09/2008 21:00

mango (how many portions in a whole mango?)
salad

TigerFeet · 05/09/2008 21:01

Yup

[snigger]

MimsieNet · 05/09/2008 21:01
