For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Lolol at Bbbee being a numpty!

UR - I forgot to say I laughed at those carrots. Is there is little trickle of jizz or is it just me?

I am going to cook OB's chilli halloumi pittas tonight. I will eat it on the sofa watching tv with cold wine when they are all in bed. I can't wait.

Guadalupe · 03/09/2008 18:33

"de-seed n finely chop a hot chilli, bun it in some EV olive oil. Fry halloumi in tiny amount of garlic n chilli oil. Bung on top of some leaves, drizzle wth chilli / oil combo. Squeeze lemon juice over. Eat. Or bung in a pitta."

Just reminding myself how to do it.

SuperBunny · 03/09/2008 18:36

Well done Franny - 98% v impressive. Sorry about the work situation.

Titty, was beautiful children. And what a huuuge baby! Your 24 hr old DS looks like mine did when he was about 5 months old. He has always been a scrawny thing and only ever made it up to the 25% so I am always impressed by big babies. It's a good thing he wasn't any bigger - I'm quite sure he wouldn't have come out.

V cool hair, TooT

Apologies for the pornographic carrot - I didn't notice the jiz before

Cheese, carrot and lentil wedges (2?)

oh god sorry bozo - it wasn't even a good postcard as i remember - how annoying. I even did a mind check when you asked and INSISTED it wasn;t me.

I can do stamps though - honest.

FZ - I always fucked up maternity leave and ended up with stupid arrnagments of feeding in car parks and stuff. It is hormones fault.

I loved the huge weight gains in the babies from breastfeeding - I remember looking adn thinking "my body did that" infact I said it to breastfeeding mothers in a congratulatory way - but i think that mihgt have been weird.

OB eat some porridge

FK yoga THEN cheese

hello womble >

Evening

Am exhausted, just back from driving lesson, but walked into house smelling yummy and food ready to eat - this is because I had made ratatoulie and jacket potatoes in oven before I went. Was delish.

Dd's second day went better than first, thankfully, she wasn't hugely happy when I picked her up yesterday - much better today. I hope it'll work out, but I am not hugely keen on place. Trouble is any other adults just don't parent in the same way as I do and they don't cuddle her enough, (probably) and well, they just aren't me .

I think both me and dd have some adjusting to do.

Anyway, its my birthday tomorrow!

Today,
aubergine, courgettes, celery, tomatoes, onion, garlic, mushrooms, apples, grapes
zero exercise.

S1ur · 03/09/2008 19:25

Oh beautiful children!

And lovely big babies, I think its remarkable they can grow so much on milk alone - aint biology fab?

Mine were dd -8lb ds 6lb13 and he seemed so tiny and he didn't have all that extra chubbiness. He's a tall and strapping 2yo now though.

Guadalupe · 03/09/2008 19:53

Good lord, OB, this is tasty.

BBBee · 03/09/2008 19:54

is that the chilli sweat thing carrot?

Guadalupe · 03/09/2008 20:01

Yup, and it sure is tasty.

BBBee · 03/09/2008 20:05

mine said 'bozo' and the brother's one said 'miss bozo' so that would make you 'bozo bozo'

BBBee · 03/09/2008 20:06

littlerach · 03/09/2008 20:16

Boco, you made me snort then! Or Bozo.

It is very good, once you get past the language.

WE are now onto The Shield which is ismilar but set in LA.

that sounds awfully random Franzo...

It's dark and rainy and I feel like I want to go to bed already.

Guadalupe · 03/09/2008 20:36

Was I meant to eat the whole packet of Halloumi? It didn't seem worth saving. Mmmmm. I am going to eat that everyday.

Did anyone watch Nigella Express? I really fancy scallops fried with chorizo too, and half a bar of white chocolate scoffed from the fridge in a dressing gown.

Boco · 03/09/2008 20:59

No don't worry Bee, is fine, was a very nice postcard. My brother put Miss Bozo and then my sirname. I had to explain that I did have id, but none that confirmed my name as Bozo.

Titty beautiful children you have. Doesn't the little ones colouring change as he grows?

Actually Bee there is one thing, you remember you were offering your six year olds uniform to Toots 12 year old? Do you have any grey pinafores that have been outgrown? Dd put hers on this morning and they're titchy. She's littler than your one. If not don't worry, will take a trip to tesco asda the fairtrade natural fibre uniform shop.

I just spoke to this life coach. She seems nice, she's agreed to take me on, starting in a couple of weeks. Bit scared as I will have to start DOING things and making change and taking action!

Guadalupe · 03/09/2008 21:12

What do you mean, 'ha, carrot'? I am pleased you have cheese, Bbbee!

filthymindedvixen · 03/09/2008 21:17

I want cheese. And wine.

And a puppy.. Anda rabbit in a hat and...

Boco · 03/09/2008 21:23

Oh good thanks bee. I can pay for postage. But you must put postage on it.

Who said 'ha carrot?'

Boco · 03/09/2008 21:24

FMV did you make any changes? Did you do things you wouldn't have otherwise do you think? Is a bit scary to have to do things isn't it. I'd like to stay living in mumsnet and eating cheese but I know it's bad for me in the long run.

littlerach LOVED series one of teh wire, now about to start series 2.

BBBee · 03/09/2008 21:26

I said ha carrot. it was about cheese. I was, er, being, eer, ironic?

No I was laughing witht the joy of cheese.

I have to sew a cross stich hello kitty bookmark for my sister for her birthday. it is a jolly joke, but i am not very good at cross stich so it is making me cross.

I need some vibes from avi or a life coach.
