For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Definitely

Very useful during the sittingupfallingover stage

Then DS used it as a kind of bouncy toy, then we filled it with balls and used it as a ball pit...he loved it.

I reckon we got over a year of practical / play value out of it...and it deflates so can be stored easily

FrayedKnot · 21/06/2008 22:27

Avi the HF shop lady said expect it to take 3-4 weeks to have an effect - will be interesting to compare this month with next I think.

Night night veggers

LullyOfShallot · 21/06/2008 23:14

ds would never sit in his...we used it to store toys in

TooTicky · 21/06/2008 23:14

We had a play nest thing for dd2 - would have been great if dd1, ds1 and ds2 hadn't kept leaping on it. It got a slow puncture.

at gooseberries. We have them but ds2 loves to eat them hard and green, along with raspberries and weeny apples. I think he has forgotten about the loganberries though so I am quietly watching them ripen.

Cauli and carrot.

TooTicky · 21/06/2008 23:15

Hello TooT.

I haven't yet looked at clothes DD has grown out of, but will (hopefully before she grows out of any more)

IdrisTheDragon · 21/06/2008 23:32

I am singing the song of the title in my head

TooTicky · 21/06/2008 23:43

We once lived below somebody who played this song constantly for weeks at a volume that made the walls vibrate

IdrisTheDragon · 21/06/2008 23:51

That would be very very annoying.

stuffitllama · 21/06/2008 23:54
