For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

oh boco is going to a wonderful party - hs she gone already?

what is she wearing?

how exciting. Is there a babysitter or are you taking it in turns to go like a tag team?

we went strawberry picking and I am so over my 10 today - we ate more than we picked and are all happy.

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:16

I am trying to be at the articke heart salad but really I am at the 'big pie'

FrannyandZooey · 28/06/2008 18:17

it was chicken and mango
that isn't right, is it?

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:17

why has mrsc bought a van? is it camper van?

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:18

chicken and mango is wrong anyway - it a pie it is most queer. Who makes these pies? is it 10/10 infiltrationg the pie eating community?

littlerach · 28/06/2008 18:28

Radishes, radishes, radishes.

They are coming out of my ears.

Are they nice roasted?

And dh doesn't really like htem.
Dd1 won't try them.
Dd2 liked the first bite, but not when she could really taste them.

More cherrries.
Tomatoees.
Radishes
How crap.

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:35

I have never heard of a roasted radish. I love them sliced in white plastic bread with lots of butter and salt.

could you make a kind of horseradish sauce thing?

it is hard because it is one of those things where if you don't like it there is not much you can do to transform in.

um, grated into coleslaw....

FrannyandZooey · 28/06/2008 18:35

I don't like radishes
who does?

Bee it was a stall called Humble Pie which I thought was quite a good pie joke

FrannyandZooey · 28/06/2008 18:36

not as good as Pie Minister though which is marvellously grandiose

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:36

the georgian word for radish is 'bollock-ebbie' - but that is not much help is it.

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:38

oh i am liking the sound of these pies - but the mango thing is still freaking me a bit.

Okay - I picked gooseberries in a bout of enthusiam. Any ideas?

littlerach · 28/06/2008 18:38

I could call them that to persuade dd1 to eat them!

I do quite like them!!

But we have loads.

think I will pop soem to next door, with some salad leaves, again, loads of thm!

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:39

when dp had bad english i asked him to get those linda mccartney vegetarian pies and he asked a confused tesco worker where the 'paul mccartney pies' were.

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:40

i like radishes but i can imagine it wears a bit thin after a couple of meals. there must be some russian recipes - am intrigued and off to google.

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:42

I found this recipe for russian radish salad - it is truely inspired:

"Method
Peel radish, grate coarsely, combine with sour cream and salt to taste."

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:43

oh look how topical we are:

"Did you know...?
It's rumoured there's a recipe for radish pie somewhere out there. If you've got one, please send it to us! "

TooTicky · 28/06/2008 18:43

That's why I don't grow radishes

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:44

I bet it is the same people making the mango pie - it will be radish and haddock or something.

TooTicky · 28/06/2008 18:45

Ooh you have all posted lots.

Bee - just eat gooseberries.

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:45

hey toot - a lady behind me looked just like you at strawberry picking so I did an instinctive smile and she did one of those 'smile but I THINK YOU MIGHT BEE MAD' faces - like this ->

Bbbee · 28/06/2008 18:46

the 'BEE' was a genuine typo - ha ha

TooTicky · 28/06/2008 18:48

You can put them in crumbles but it seems wasteful.

We have been swimming. I drove the bus-car and feel almost used to it. Had top beg help from random man in a car park though when the key wouldn't turn

TooTicky · 28/06/2008 18:58

Oh Bee, there was a Tatties person at toddler group last week and I did that smiling thing

TooTicky · 28/06/2008 18:58

She was very sweet though and kept smiling back

FrayedKnot · 28/06/2008 18:59

Hello

Everyone is doing exciting things [grin

I was sure you hadn;t got the camper Loopy...how exciting. I wouldn;t know where to start with upholstering one and nor would my mother...what fabric will it be?

I am obsessed with textiles so please indulge me.

Boco the party will be fabulous on such a lovely evening, have a great time

BBBee...we miss you, how are you and the course and everything?

TooT is this a new car? I know you said you were supposed to be getting one?

UR, if there are lots of guests I'm sure no-one will notice

Why were you not going to see the man?
