For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

No Fran today. I wonder if she's contracting? I bet she isn't and will come on later all annoyed that I have assumed that just because we haven't heard from her in a few hours that she must be busy having a baby

TooTicky · 27/06/2008 12:25

Which day is your dd's birthday TigerFeet? My dd2's is the 1st.

I have been making gingerbread in school

I have had no breakfast

TigerFeet · 27/06/2008 12:27

Wednesday TooT - 2nd

I laboured all the way through July 1st and then early morning on 2nd, just as the sun was coming up, out she slithered . She will be 4 - how old is yours?

TooTicky · 27/06/2008 12:33

Blimey, sounds like hard work!

She will be 3.

filthymindedbolshevixen · 27/06/2008 12:34

when is your birthday Loverley Lully?

TooTicky · 27/06/2008 12:39

Hello Fmf

TigerFeet · 27/06/2008 13:03

Well, when I say laboured, what I actually mean is from 4am on 1st I was getting irregular contractions every 10-20 mins, right through the day (other than a 2 hour lunch break ) then continuing through the afternoon until becoming stronger at about 6pm, off I went to hospital, at about 11pm/12am I was finally in established labour then a 20 min second stage and out she popped at 5.21am

So not too bad at all really although painful (obv) because it was fairly quick at the business end. I let myself be talked into a sleeping pill (for the love of god why???) at around midnight because "you'll be hours yet lovey" and slept between contractions so all I remember is being extremely out of control and being in continuous pain for hours .

Apols for waffle but at this sort of time every year I like to have a little reminisce (sp?) (not sure that reminisce is even a word).

Is Lully going to be older soon?

LullyOfShallot · 27/06/2008 13:06

Noooooooo Nooo Nooo

stuffitllama · 27/06/2008 13:48

hi tiger
in two weeks we leave for a bit of relly bashing, then back here for two days then flying out

school term starts Aug 4

of course I will send mangoes! i'll pick them unripe and put them on the quinquireme of ninevah with fans and spices

i lose the pute next Friday so it'll be goodbye from me until I can say hello from there

stuffitllama · 27/06/2008 13:49

mind you i guess i could eat a lot of cream cakes and toast without feeling guilty FOR ONCE

Guadalupe · 27/06/2008 14:05

the auction ends tomorrow and can't decide if the van is the right one

if we get it we could go away next week and the forecast is good

it's local

it's sound and has brand new tyres

it has a loo, as yet we do not know if this is good

Aaaaargh

if we miss it we might be gutted, if we get it a better one could come up next week.

I keep tossing a coin and it says don't get it but that's stupid, no?

Guadalupe · 27/06/2008 14:06

off to hospital for my post op check, feel strangely nervous.

TigerFeet · 27/06/2008 14:14

August 4th surely it will be really really hot then?

Good luck at the hospital Loopy I'm sure it will be fine

If you bought the van and decided you didn't want the loo is it takeoutable? I would be tempted to go for it tbh but I like to have everything now.

LullyOfShallot · 27/06/2008 14:26

Thanks Toot
Thanks stuffit

Ogh Good luck MrsC

Tricky about van
tricky tricky tricky

Off for a bike ride with ds & then a charity cream tea that is very buntingcupcake

None of us made the roundup
come on chaps,we are slacking

TigerFeet · 27/06/2008 14:34

I have never made the roundup. Ever. [dull]

filthymindedbolshevixen · 27/06/2008 15:30

I am always making people roffle and pismls and lolling...but not on the right threads, IFKWIM.

filthymindedbolshevixen · 27/06/2008 15:32

MrsC, you will barely ever lose money on campervans, so even if you buy it and decide it's not right for you, you can sell and upgrade next year...

I mean, I know our campervan saga wasn't a happy ever after, BUT we had a lot of fun for 2 years, and even though we wrote it off, we still got what we had paid for it - and we hadn't done any extra work or anything.

OsmosisBanana · 27/06/2008 15:50

AhA! I'm back from the land of the pox!

I dreamt about you all last night. Admittedly I have had no adult company since Sunday but really...

Have actually chewed off all my fingers in frustration except this stumpy one which I am using to type.

My dream was based at F&Z's house. Baby was already birthed (by about 2 months) but I had somehow missed this nugget of info and was expecting a newborn... Then no-one would tell me who they were and made me guess. Horrednous. It sounds like a nightmare rather than a dream but it was reasonably pleasant at the time.

[mental emoticon]

OsmosisBanana · 27/06/2008 15:53

I'm still chuckling inside at the poo fingers stuffit. Tis lucky we'll prob never meet as I am not good at holding in splurting laughter.#

Oh wait... Kerala next yr... could come and guffaw after all....

filthymindedbolshevixen · 27/06/2008 15:54

aw mate, it's awful that enforced isolation....
