For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2008 13:15

did he do that marvellous face when he said it
we need more anecdotes that have dh in them

lol 100x, bloomin' right on sister!!

Were these 'friends' these men, or random strangers in a pub?

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2008 13:16

I am fine
I have got magic water with iron in it
I drink it and then someone comes to take ds somewhere and then I go back to bed
it's not much of a life, but mine all mine

Oooh that sounds exciting. Is the water a violet colour? I think it should be.

No one of them was a stranger - the cock sucking one, when he sat down he told me a story about 'jugs' and I gave him my most withering stare and we didn't get on AT ALL WELL. And the other was a husband of a friend.

DH was doing good smiling when he said it. He's a bit mad too of course, only he doesn't pick fights he just gets sleepy.

We are living vicariously through the children and the volley-ball player who actually LEAVE THE HOUSE

Am also picking a fight on the Wankers Corner thread. See? Dreadful.

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2008 13:25

Right I must love and leave you [wipes crumbs from chin] Gah! I must stop doing the self-justifying thing.

UnderRated · 26/06/2008 14:22

What immature things to say, ahundred. The men, not you.

Camper is exciting, MrsC

Hope everyone is ok. Where's Bero? She hasn't come back.

Yesterday, I had bok choi, 4 bananas, grapes, onion and something else. Will try to do better today.

I have to prepare food for a picnic tomorrow morning and am lacking motivation.

Off to physio

LullyOfShallot · 26/06/2008 16:46

Although today I have been up in London seeing hepatologist and having accupuncture .Had a nice mooch around Marleybone High St & sushi in Pret & window shopped & it was lovely.
Dh actually has scored brownie points for taking today off & taking ds swimming, for a picnic lunch & boating at the park. They have both just come back exhausted & happy & ds is very huggy and bouncy like an excited puppy.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2008 16:53

good lord Lully, that was super that dh did all that

my ds came back exhausted which was exactly how I wanted him he has been lovely and compliant all afternoon and we have read stories and sorted out all his colouring books and sticker books into one place

he's now drawing fish from a fab book lionheart sent us ages ago

watcha fruities!

Bbbee · 26/06/2008 17:00

skimmed last few posts - am shocked that 100 hangs out with people who talk about sucking cock - i thought it would be all oscar wilde and dorothy parker

Bbbee · 26/06/2008 17:03

fra - still getting BH?

LullyOfShallot · 26/06/2008 17:15

Marylebone
God I cannot spell nor punctuate

i know Franny
Tis a first,but hopefully not a last.
Sounds like you've had a nice day too.

oh I meant to ask before if you had a changing bag?
I found an OiOi one in brown/green/turquoise with mat/wipe holder etc in the cupboard that has hardly been used. It's yours if you would like it?

the flock is returning

UnderRated · 26/06/2008 17:22

Lully, what a nice turnabout in DH.

FrayedKnot · 26/06/2008 17:35

Hello

2 pears, big salad.

Have been to farm museum and a little tired, but it was great, lovely day, and DS is just getting to the interested in things stage. We learnt about making beer and cider

Hooray to Lapin for making Boco a website!

Camper van sounds exciting Loops..would think 1992 VW OK.

My sister & BF are currently driving down the E Coast of Australia in a camper van, whale and dolphin watching

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2008 17:48

Oh Lully
I would love a nice smart bag - but I must confess a friend already gave me a plain and dull sensible one - so if there is someone else who hasn't got one at all, then they should have it
but I could use two I honestly could [keen]

Bee no, I wonder if those other ones were even BH at all
I have no symptoms whatsoever (same as with ds)
and am big as a bus
have made slightly panicky midwife apptment for tomorrow as can feel kicks at the front today
am paranoid this baby is going to turn OP like ds so want her to check

ooh large amounts of shopping appearing

OP posts:
LullyOfShallot · 26/06/2008 17:57

hurrah for shopping!

Franny,you could indeed use two
I had three I think hence v little use of this one.
Would you like me to try & email you a pic?
It is yours anyway.

Does anyone know of a vegetarian hotel called Temple Lodge in Hammersmith?
Have been trying to find somewhere in that area for Grandma & I to stay in a weeks time for a couple of nights. It seems quite an unusual place, cheapish, organic food etc.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2008 18:07

oh dear
serious freezer over fillage
I was nesting [defensive]

Lully it would just be so nice to have a SMART one for if I was going for a coffee somewhere
(will I ever go for a coffee anywhere ever again?)
I always had such functional ones
but only as I say if you have no use for it - wouldn#t it make a nice handbag anyway? and there is nobody else who isn#t taking more than their fair share of changing bags who might like it

OP posts:
UnderRated · 26/06/2008 18:09

Franny, you need a full freezer- once the baby is here, I am sure it will empty far quicker than you expect

Take the bag. It sounds lovely. I never had a nice changing bag. In fact, I never had a changing bag at all.

Hello Swedes

Welcome

Have you done exercise today? What have you eaten?

stuffitllama · 26/06/2008 18:33

evening fruity gels
three portions green beans
2 kiwis slightly cunting and thus a leetle piquant
one banana and I think i had one this morning
1 glass juice
7
plus green tea to get rid of caffeine headache which has worked
lully that sounds perfect, chidldren being exhausted by fathers is always perfect
fran maybe you could bulk cook some of the stuff that won't go in the freezer
btw the bulk cooking from last week was a godsend, and with the odd shop pizza, eldest being away, and generous rice to chilli ratio it has lasted for two weeks
hello UR
hello swedes

stuffitllama · 26/06/2008 18:35

hello frayed, hello guad the camper van is very inducing

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2008 18:39

erm stuffit the freezer stuff is things like ice cream and nice bread products and ready meals

very healthy ones of course

Swedes welcome
you certainly have the right name to come on here
now we just need to wait for Tatties and MrsCarrot and I will get out my masher and some butter and salt and pepper
