For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

And....as I got out of the car earlier, my skirt had a bit of a Marilyn Onroe moment and 6flew up, almost^ revealing my knickers

Mmmmmm to Franny's cheese scones
My Grandmother used to bake those for me & we had them with more cheese & beetroot relish..mmmmmmm

Oh & the nut loaf was delicious
added lots of grated carrot & some silken tofu to Franny's recipe
Works much better with rice than breadcrumbs
I wonder if it would work with quinoa?

Nut loaf sounds good.

My DS also likes to pull his socks up to his knees and wear them with nice white trainers. Or, worse, crocs.

poor sod, it is not an easy time

annnnnddddd breathe!

Ok, breathing normally now. Been to alloty and calmer now.

DH has signed us up for a lucrative project -trouble is the deadline is next weekend and it is shed loads of work.
Meanwhile my boss is on holiday and work is utterly manic and I am working full time until the summer hols.
Meanwhikle I am part of a team oranising children's events for a festival next weekend and have loads to do for prep.
Meanwhile we are supposed to be at festival on thursday night to set up and in the chaos I have forgotton to request friday off schoolf for boys.
Meanhwile I have been in a school govs meeting all afternoon workingto a tight deadline to fill in an important document.
Meanwhile Bongo is still not readt for us to pick up and we need it by next weekend.
Meanwhile, DH has worked extra days this week so I have no help with shopping, cooking, picking up kids etc....

no-one is calling me MrsC now, it's all Guad and Loopy

I am supposed to be talking to dh as it is out twelve anniversary of getting together but ds is watching football and we are both on the computer.

Had a nice thai takeaway though. I went to do the banquet but I was a day too late, needs three days advance so I may have it at the weekend.
