For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I sort of want to boycott them or at least see them grovel. I'm quite annoyed
Interestingly, LaRedoute have identical products but I KNOW they are shite - take weeks to deliver and send far too much bumph.

UnderRated · 25/06/2008 14:16

Morning all

Tigerfeet, hope you feel better

Toot, we have a Puky and it is fabulous

Guadalupe · 25/06/2008 14:28

Thanks, Avi, I was feeling useless.

I am very pissed off with myself. Ds2 wanted his sandals off yesterday when we played after school, they were hurting him as they are brand new and he didn't have socks on for the first time.

This morning I went to get them out of the pram and they are gone. They really were very expensive, all the sale ones I tried on him didn't fit so I ended up with new ones. I have been to the school and they wouldn't let me look on the field till later but said things are normally handed to them and there was nothing there.

I am gutted, it took ages to find nice ones that fitted him properly. They must have slid out of the side of the pushchair. How annoying is that?

Large greek salad. Nectarine.

UnderRated · 25/06/2008 14:32

Lupe, what a pain

TooTicky · 25/06/2008 14:33

Oh poo What size is he?

Guadalupe · 25/06/2008 16:19

Found Them!!!!!!!!!

I searched up and down the field, all round the school and classrooms and lost property and roads and bushes and finally, when ds1 arrived, he said can I have an ice-cream?

I said, no, rather glumly, we can't afford it, ds2's shoes are lost. He said, no they're not, they're in my bag. You put them in there when you took them off yesterday and I just grabbed my bag off the pram this morning.

Hurray. But, I am knackered, I have been stressing and racing and looking for them all day.

TooTicky · 25/06/2008 16:22

Hurrah!!!

LullyOfShallot · 25/06/2008 16:24

Oh Hurray
Well done

Boco · 25/06/2008 16:47

Oh good! This is like your chicken purse incident Guada!

stuffitllama · 25/06/2008 17:17

marvellous! we should always ask the dcs where we left the car keys

LullyOfShallot · 25/06/2008 17:20

chicken purse?

FrannyandZooey · 25/06/2008 17:43

oh I am glad you found them! I was thinking 'they MUST be on the field' but was so relieved to hear they were in the bag

ds has worn his (expensive, new) sandals precisely twice since I bought them a couple of months ago and insists on wearing socks pulled right up and trainers instead
he is a worse Luddite than me, I should have known better

ds terribly cross with me quite a lot of the time atm
understandable but a bit wearing

TooT you do know Vertbaudet is the sister company of La Redoute don't you? they do normally take a week or so to deliver and they do send a lot of bumph

Guadalupe · 25/06/2008 17:55

ds1 has stopped wearing sandals now, he wanted flip flops from the surf shop. They look lovely with his double verruca.

Lully - the purse is a yellow cotton chicken and it was lost for two days and there was a fiasco with explaning that my purse was a chicken to the police who thought it ver funny. Then DH found it completely sodden on a garden wall, someone obviously thought it was a child's toy. Everything was in it amazingly.

TooTicky · 25/06/2008 18:03

My ds1 has 27 verrucas....
