Dh very ill, will be going into the hospice on Wednesday

Dh is now very poorly. He is very thin, has no appetite, sleeps most of the day and is up most of the night.

The Macmillan nurse visited today and has told him to stay in bed, and he will have a bed in the hospice on Wednesday.

I don't know if this is 'it'. but he is getting very ill very quickly. At least he got to do his balloon ride yesterday, and got the formal news of his MBE a little while ago.

We have been lucky to have the extra time that we have had, and we have built some fine memories, but this is very hard. He is such a good man and doesn't deserve this. I don't know if I can post updates, I may well just use MN as a distraction.

Thinking of you all at this difficult time . He is very lucky to have such a loving familly.

I am so sorry to hear things are not good atm.

I just wondered is there was any way you could get the presentation of the MBE brought forward, or if it could be done with someone coming to you? It would be another lovely memeory for you to make together.

MB, so sorry to hear things may be going downhill. Mr MB has been astonishing all along, as have you. Of course he doesn't deserve this suffering - nor do you all as a family. Sometimes life is so hard.
