For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I'm ok, zippi. Wavering, I think, so not entirely sure. How are you?

I need a job.

Is now a bad time to sell a house in the UK?

fullmoonfiend · 11/06/2008 20:39

I managed 3 weeks or so. Once. Got loads done, but still felt a sort of loss

UnderRated · 11/06/2008 22:05

lolol

OsmosisBanana · 11/06/2008 22:27

Back once again with the ill behaviour..

Yet again pumped from using the strimmer.

I am awesome - it's official. I have started weeding my dead neighbours' garden. Eh? Eh? Is that rounds of confused / embarrassed rounds of applause I hear? I also managed to put an apostrophe in the right place for any teachers lurking.

Your bump Franster is, frankly, humungoloid. Very impressed. Looks a girl to me.

Nobody laughed at me calling 'it' the zoologist or zoology. Was that bunch of names done to death before?

Zips - i am a gardener extraordinaire it turns out. I base this on 12 hours of concerted effort over 3 nights after work. 4 of which were in the pissing rain. Goose grss nearly gone. Bind weed - well....

OsmosisBanana · 11/06/2008 22:28

Yes Fran, shoots of lentils would be better. I tried. SO proud to have thought of something it's ridiculous.

OsmosisBanana · 11/06/2008 22:42

I actually have a small tear rolling down my cheek. MarsLady cooked a recipe I sggested and said it was lovely.

This bodes well for my plan of world domination through OB catering.

Huge Furry Whipping Stool will have nothing on me.

I might even do a brief horticultural course after my nutrition degree.

God I'm a wanker.

OsmosisBanana · 11/06/2008 22:46

I am eating a totally non cunting avocado. EVEN rarer than the lesser spotted cunting mango.

Doused with worc sauce, e.v.o and crusty salt. On a jacket spud. Bloody lovely.

WHERE ARE YOU???!?!!? Slurred in a delia type manner. Speaking of which.. where be Slur?? Do you think she is getting married / honeymooning?

OsmosisBanana · 11/06/2008 22:47

Just to make it a nice round 5 posts in a row by me. Poss a record although I doubt it.

Cod - care for some company? Got yer knitted tail?

TooTicky · 11/06/2008 22:59

OB, you still here? What's all this talk of strimming, is it some kind of code? [naive]

OsmosisBanana · 11/06/2008 23:22

still here.

Was wondering why I've been so hyper with household tasks as normally I get like that pre menstrually but am on new hormone regime aka pill.

However just had teenage werewolf in london situation with DH having sex. Nasty.

Hate accidental periods. Goddamn 10/10 synchronisation.

TMI?!

TooTicky · 11/06/2008 23:26

I can cope with tmi.

Can you come here and be manic please? There is lots that needs doing. Generally. And particularly before Sunday, when dp's mum will be visiting.

OsmosisBanana · 11/06/2008 23:32

You're too late. Am now 'on' it would seem.

TooTicky · 11/06/2008 23:33

So that's you, me and Talilac all today. Anyone else I wonder?

TooTicky · 11/06/2008 23:35

I never have housework mania. I do loads but it never looks any better really, so I can't get excited abouit it. It's just one long struggle to stay just about on top of things.

OsmosisBanana · 11/06/2008 23:38

well you see, i am not due on and have synthetic periods anyway so thought msybe I'd finally grown up or summat. No, fake 10/10 period instead. Thanks guys.

pinkspottywellies · 11/06/2008 23:39

I had a cunting melon. A whole melon that was cunting. I cut into it (firm on the outside) at it was slime all the way through

Mexican bonanza was fabulous. We had refried beans, fajitas and chilli both had veg in, salsa, avocado etc etc but I've just realised I left the salad in the fridge!

Haven't read properly but Franny I've seen your new picture

TooTicky · 11/06/2008 23:42

Hello Pink

I have tomato flowers....

OsmosisBanana · 11/06/2008 23:42

got to go n veg out. hur hur.

TooTicky · 11/06/2008 23:44

Is that sleeping or pooing OB?
Oh dear, I'd better not talk about poo.

Can anybody help with dd2's problem? [hopeful]

UnderRated · 11/06/2008 23:46

OB - are you ok? Sorry about period arriving at inopportune moment

What was the recipe? Do I need to make it?

I've been cleaning frantically all day. The house still looks like shit but I feel comforted by the effort that I went to. Unfortunately, I got a bit carried away and accidentally shredded the shower curtain

Lully's disappeared again. Is she ok?

Broccoli (lots), rhubarb, banana, raspberries, a perfect mango, pineapple

TooTicky · 11/06/2008 23:47

How do you accidentally shred a shower curtain?

UnderRated · 11/06/2008 23:48

Poor DD2, Toots. I have a question about little boys, if anyone is still up.

UnderRated · 11/06/2008 23:49

Meant to say, I know nothing about girls, Toot so can't help.

I put the shower curtain in the wash. Everyone tells me you can do that. Apparently you cannot.
