For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Oh yes, of course, I just knew that was you as well. I thought, that confederate, she sounds just like 100x. I'm so clever.

ahundredtimes · 11/06/2008 19:00

God, it was hardly an exciting name change. It was meant to be quiet, and happily pleasing to me.

Still can't find Fra's stomach.

I still think I've done well. You can email me if you Guad person are MrsC which I think you are. If you're not MrsC then you are not welcome to email me.

I will give tips and dispense wisdom. It'll be great.

Someone even asked you if you were american

ahundredtimes · 11/06/2008 19:04

Oh it was wonderful. My favourite was when someone asked me to email them and I said 'Do I have to?'

Made me laugh anyway.

Oh good report. Am touched by thread. Will you do another one next week please? Thanks.

Guadalupe · 11/06/2008 19:08

LOLOL, yes, Mrsc, not some random island hoping for tips. And it was a sarcastic post, I didn't have a bloody clue who you were, despite re-reading the thread and fruitlessly scanning for the word posture like a saddo while ds2 clung to my leg twenty minutes ago.

Guadalupe · 11/06/2008 19:10

and I must have a small break soon, last time I carried on mumsnetting through a cold I got sinusitis and just looking at the screen made my cheekbones pulse. Had to stay off for a week to recover.

ahundredtimes · 11/06/2008 19:12

We can exchange tips MrsC. Because even with Confederate, I still think I've done well. [stubborn]

UnderRated · 11/06/2008 19:33

Oh, I noticed a poster named confederate (because it's almost July 4th) but I didn't pay any attention to the posts or threads

Yes, the Wires. Please Be Careful. You look wonderful though Franny. It's still quite a neat bump, isn't it?

Boco · 11/06/2008 19:41

Does anyone remember BettySwallocks? She was just like confederate. She was funny, but she left because of a misunderstanding and it was sad. Was that you too 100x?

TigerFeet · 11/06/2008 19:45

Hello

I think DS may be a little better tonight, he is less hot. Hasn;t eaten any supper though.

OB hope you got home OK...if you are home yet

I was a Mango, btw, sorry, I kept forgetting to change back. I looked at my list of nicknames today and can;t remember using half of them.

When on earth was I "LostInSpaaaaaaace"?

Or "BarbaraGood"?

Beautiful tum, Franny. Glad the scan went well. Babies do have quite big heads generally don;t they

[bright non-wincey smile]

UnderRated · 11/06/2008 20:17

Glad he is a little better - perhaps after a good sleep he'll be back to his usual self, FK.

talilac · 11/06/2008 20:22

I wish I could abstain from MN for a while. Then I'd get some work done during the day and wouldn't have to stay up late doing it instead.

Oh well, at least I'm using MN responsibly, for vegetables and things. Could be worse.

Raisins, juice, banana, salad with stuff, falafel & houmous, oh i don't know, 7 so far. Off to go and have some grapes which will make 8. One day I'll get to 10.

No exercise though. Completely rubbish.

Lovely tummy, as DD1 would say..
