For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

oh I had scan! was fine. Not especially emotional or anything as the sonographer was really quite grumpy but it was nice to see it
it had hand in front of face mostly, got one good photo which I'll try to link later, placenta is anterior and not low lying, head was down, she didn't say position but I am thinking LOA to be technical

ds has had most marvellous afternoon in garden cafe playing with some big boys and some balloon swords. His was pink which amused me for some reason.

no it didn't look squashed, you only got to see a little bit of it at a time, but it seems to have an unfeasibly large head much like ds, then

Yes. Am doing proper hours pretty much during week. Just as well, what with the lying and the self-deceit taking up so much time.

A G&T is rather appealling. Alas, I am teetotal these days so will have to make do with pink lemonade (with a sprig of mint from the garden)

this was a long balloon apparently the right shape to be considered a sword
ds was most pleased
he also picks up sticks and says they are swords
I don't buy him pretend swords (or allow my effing mother to buy them for him )

I just ate the nicest salad

This cold has gone in my ear and I can't hear A GODDAMM THING, everyone is talking and they sound like they are in a faraway cave with socks over their face. I keep drinking rose to forget about it but it is proving tricky.
