For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

zippitippitoes · 10/06/2008 21:02

it would be further wilful extravagance

and bneed braveness

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 21:07

oh please all be wrong about this horrible overdueness
you do all know I am due July FOURTH don't you

anyway
I had a lasagne made of sweet potato and spinach for lunch
it had no pasta in, it was layers of sweet potato
and there was carrots and beans and peas

am about to eat a satsuma thing

avi I hope it was a BIG basket, I hope it made your arms ache

oh at the supermarket my mother thought it was fun to strap ds into a disabled trolley
I said "that's for disabled people, get him off"
she said no and I said "if security see you they will tell you off"
"I don't care"
"well ds will, please get him off"
when I had finished shopping she found me and said crossly "I have found out that trolley was for disabled CHILDREN it would have been fine to put him in it"
"he is not disabled"
"but no-one would KNOW"
"so what if a person with a disabled child came and wanted the trolley while you were pushing ds in it?"
"but there were TWO OF THEM"

am so my face is getting twisty

aaargh
it could well be the 16th couldn't it
aaaargh
that's over a month away
A MONTH I TELL YOU OF LOOKING LIKE A WEEBLE

stuffedaubergine · 10/06/2008 21:17

face facts fran it's time to break open the gin and go trampolining

stuffedaubergine · 10/06/2008 21:19

I'm sure you don't look like a weeble anyway
how is your pelvis

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 21:20

no stoppit
I have to wait till next week anyway or I can't try a homebirth
so the midwife now tells me anyway, you have to be 38 weeks
no-one mentioned this before

zippitippitoes · 10/06/2008 21:21

surely franny would come apart if she went on a trampoline

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 21:21

pelvis round and plasticy
oh sorry I am NOT a weeble
erm actually very manageable
it just hurts if I do stuff
really very bearable

stuffedaubergine · 10/06/2008 21:21

but I thought full term was 37+? (racks memory)

stuffedaubergine · 10/06/2008 21:22

round and plasticy
sorry have you gone mad
i just ask out of interest

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 21:22

yes it is
but they have decided they don't 'do' homebirths before 38 weeks
I wonder when else they 'don't do them'

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 21:23

you know, like a weeble
it wasn't a very good joke, don't draw attention to it
