For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Hello, TooT.

TooTicky · 10/06/2008 16:18

Hello Lionheart
Any chance you could make a meet up in Bristol either 121th/13th July???????

Franny, it has to be July 1st, Zippi and I have both voted.

stuffedaubergine · 10/06/2008 16:19

zippi the pics are terrific
it looks like a shop in barnes or harrogate, all lovely

zippitippitoes · 10/06/2008 16:22

it was lovely

tho after spending 7 days a week in it for 3 years it rather seemed like a life sentence

yay july 1st it is then i shall send franny a scary email after midnight to make sure

lionheart · 10/06/2008 16:41

Don't think I can make it TooTs.

zippitippitoes · 10/06/2008 16:43

i dont know if i can come yet because we were too busy shagging to book our holiday at the weekend

fullmoonfiend · 10/06/2008 16:44

oh it is! A proper bunting cup-cake shop! And yes, we have one just like it in Harrogate (that I have been known to shop in...)

lionheart · 10/06/2008 16:46

I have a penchant for shops that sell strange odds and fancy sods.

TooTicky · 10/06/2008 16:52

Oh poo Lionheart

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 17:10

oh sorry TooT shall we desist about the gender thing? didn't mean to make anyone feel odd

i don'[t care about all these 8 and 9 lbers, I am sure it will just kind of fall slide out tbh, but I DO mind going hideously overdue again

July 1st sounds hunky dory

have been shopping and spent £70 on fruit and bread, basically
how?
HOWWWW????
I am not just being rhetorical, I actually need an answer for when dp gets back

zippitippitoes · 10/06/2008 17:12

HOW

blkoody hell franny

these are gold plated apples and pears with diamond crust loaf?

zippitippitoes · 10/06/2008 17:12

10/10 mens shoes i put them in style

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 17:18

I just don't know
there was one bag full of fruit
one bag full of bread products
one bag with sundries
dp is going to have small crisis when he finds out
he has already made it quite plain that he thinks I should not be left unsupervised in supermarket

TooTicky · 10/06/2008 17:19

Oh no no Franny, it is just my own personal thing, don't like to predict anything myself.

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 17:19

TooTicky · 10/06/2008 17:22

Buying food is quite scary these days. One reason I plan to grow everything
Well, morec tham I do.

TooTicky · 10/06/2008 17:25

zippitippitoes · 10/06/2008 17:28

here is some info history

IdrisTheDragon · 10/06/2008 17:35

DD will be 3 in September and I don't think we will get rid of the buggy yet. More to do with me leavcing the house late to get DS from school and her walking pace being slower than the run needed .
