For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

lionheart · 10/06/2008 11:05

Aa, that is new information I may have to add to my carefully calibrated guess calculations.

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 11:06

a man looked straight down my top yesterday instead of looking me in the eye
this doesn't happen to me very often (there isn't usually anything to see)
I found it strangely unenjoyable so I feel your pain OB

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 11:07

all these diddy girls
if it doesn't come till 15th July there will be TROUBLE OB

lionheart · 10/06/2008 11:10

A diddy girl will suprise you Franny. That's why she is coming.

OsmosisBanana · 10/06/2008 11:10

I like to stir.

I'm revising 7lb 7 to 8lb 7. The date stays.

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 11:12

oh ok I like surprises

I want to eat something 10 / 10 ish but there isn't anything much in the house

that'll do

TigerFeet · 10/06/2008 11:13

lol I read 15th July and I knew Franny would have Something To Say About That

DD is a girl (really? no!!) born 2nd July @ 7lb 12 so I will frankly be amazed if that's right.

lionheart · 10/06/2008 11:14

She may even have red spiky hair.

lionheart · 10/06/2008 11:14

She will certainly amaze.

FrannyandZooey · 10/06/2008 11:20

LOL 15th July
red hair! that would raise a few eyebrows...
we told my mother ds might look mixed race as dp has some black ancestry (a complete lie just to amuse ourselved by winding up my racist mother)

carrots were manky so am eating a little gem lettuce dipped in hummus
does anyone know portions for hummus? I always count it

Boco · 10/06/2008 11:21

Franny I think you're going to have a boy, 8th July, 8lbs 7 oz.

OsmosisBanana · 10/06/2008 11:22

I have started having these horrendous feelings when I see other babies. I believe I may be broody. Ain't gonna hppen though. No way.

Is there a prize for the right guess?

TigerFeet · 10/06/2008 11:26

Guadalupe · 10/06/2008 11:43

whizzing in from my fairy thread

Franny - Boy - 12th July 3pm

OsmosisBanana · 10/06/2008 11:47

GOOD LORD, TIME OF BIRTH TOO?? Oops.

OK...... I based the 15th on the day of the month DD was born so following on in a similar vein... 4am. Scientifical like.

OsmosisBanana · 10/06/2008 11:48

What date is the zoologist actually due?

Boco · 10/06/2008 12:08

No, he'll be born at tea time.

TooTicky · 10/06/2008 12:21

Franny, I demand that you give birth on 1st July, dd2 would be so chuffed (it's her birthday). I am no good at predicting genders. Actually it makes me uncomfortable but I'm not sure why, so I will watch and wait. And send you a reminder on 30th June.

TooTicky · 10/06/2008 12:22
