For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I don't know. I try not lurk around that end of town too much. There is a SpaceNK shop there which is always whispering to me.

TooTshooT · 06/06/2008 12:33

Large plate of leftover tabbouleh embellished with spinach, spring onions and hummous.

I have just MN searched my old school. Quite amazing how many times it has come up in convo. Not flattering most of it, has to be said!

gooseberryfoolmoonfiend · 06/06/2008 15:54

I never feel confident to post my old schools. I was an arty freak and Not Popular in a school where it was very Important to go ski-ing and be good at hockey...

Chocolateteapot · 06/06/2008 16:00

TooT, just found this searching for Cotham. I too spent much too much time in places like the Highbury whilst in the 6th Form there !

Chocolateteapot · 06/06/2008 16:05

Sorry to have butted in so rudely, I had a moment of being overcome with nostalgia for my dim and distant youth.

OsmosisBanana · 06/06/2008 16:05

No way! Guess where I am going in 45 mins!!!!

OsmosisBanana · 06/06/2008 16:05

Are you Briz CTP?!

TooTshooT · 06/06/2008 16:10

Chocolateteapot - hello! Highbury - Highbury Vaults? - sounds so familiar. Oh yes!
Also White Bear, White Hart, and one near Clifton Down, biggish, expensive pints...
Oh, and St. Mike's caff! The toast and hummous, the chips...

Chocolateteapot · 06/06/2008 16:16

The Steam Tavern by the Back of Clifton Down ? Also the Alma Tavern I think on Alma Road. I remember the Caff all too well !

A friend and I used to bunk off assembly practically every day in the 6th form and go to a cafe on Park Street, can't remember what it was called. I must remind her of that, we both now live in Dorset so I see her often.

TooTshooT · 06/06/2008 16:18

No, it was on the longish roadf that went from the homeopathic hospital down to Clifton Down.

I bunked off almost everything, hence most unimpressive A levels

OsmosisBanana · 06/06/2008 16:23

St Mikes caff shut now - luxury flats. Pah.

I work in St Michaels Hospital.

OsmosisBanana · 06/06/2008 16:24

Lets organise a date for SW meet up otherwise it will be all chat and no qumquat.

TooTshooT · 06/06/2008 16:26

about caff

I had dd1 and ds1 in St Michael's hospital

Chocolateteapot · 06/06/2008 16:26

Oh you don't mean the one that used to be Crockers then turned into , can't remember, was it an Irish Pub ? If so I used to work in Crockers for a bit and lived in a flat opposite before I went to University.

Chocolateteapot · 06/06/2008 16:27

Apologies for the hi-jack, I will let you get back to your veg. This has bought back a few long forgotten memories !

OsmosisBanana · 06/06/2008 16:28

I had DD in STMH too. My boss at the time is the head of midwifery though so would have strung me up if I hadn't!

TooTshooT · 06/06/2008 16:29

Yes, we need a date. We need to know who can do a weekend - weekdays are hard for us because of school
How about a tentative 12th or 13th July?

Should we discuss this off MN in case we attract gloaters?

Any interested parties email me [email protected] - that means you too OB! -m and I will compile a mailing list

TooTshooT · 06/06/2008 16:31

Oh yes, Crockers! That was it.

FrannyandZucchini · 06/06/2008 16:33

right am ignoring all this Bristol stuff
FMF I would never have posted my school on here but I nosed at what schools OTHER people went to and realised that I know MegaLegs, which was cool

stuffit I am really sad to hear you blaming yourself for all that
the dance sounds fab, I love it when they do randomly successful things like that
