For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

"he didnt want to meet me tho for some reason lol

probably a good thing as he was into trance"

LOL

FMF, sounds like you're having a great time. I'm a bit , it sounds lovely.

bero, enjoy your mini-Prosecco

Well, DP and I both honk of garlic now [joy] He is happily ensconced on the sofa getting stuck into GTA, I am sitting beside him marvelling at the awesome graphics and witty repartee.

stuffitall · 10/05/2008 22:02

dh gone to bed early after scything hedges with electric saw
and you know how they get all enthusiastic with power tools
he had a go at my climbing roses
all the wee baby buds -- scythed
and i still had to say well done good job grr

i can smell the garlic from here

i am suspicious of soya because it's so factory produced, also of low calorie stuff, it must be packed with sweeteners

can't you just eat a chocolate pudding zip you have earned a chocolate pudding surely

zippitippitoes · 10/05/2008 22:05

oh they arent low cal they just are low cal

they have sugar not sweeteners

just the normal ones

UnderRated · 10/05/2008 22:06

Oh no, poor roses.

I wonder about soya being so processed too. But then I think how weird it is to consume animal milk and I can't decide which is worse. So I use both.

UnderRated · 10/05/2008 22:07

Enjoy them, zippi. I want one.

stuffitall · 10/05/2008 22:08

oh just low cal from being soya not cream
permission granted

what do you mean just the normal ones

have never thought it wierd but in principle I do vote for caveman diet of nuts seeds fruit and you know, boar or whatever

stuffitall · 10/05/2008 22:08

i still spell weird wrong

zippitippitoes · 10/05/2008 22:10

i eat loads of fruit

not so many vegetables because i am lazy about cooking these days

stuffitall · 10/05/2008 22:11

did you get your accounts done
what's going on in the house
we're going to I n d i a in a week to find a house

UnderRated · 10/05/2008 22:20

That's very exciting, stuffit.

I eat fruit zippi. I only cook during the week when DS is with me. Weekends is raw food only (because I'm lazy) i.e. fruit & seeds.

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 22:26

We have alpro desserts from time to time. They are mainly good I think, if sugary, but I don't buy them too often because they come in plastic pots. Which then pile up at the edge of the draining board, fall over and annoy me.

I prefer soya yogurt. Actually, I like the plain ones best, with fruit and a drizzle of honey, or just with fruit puree. But I am hardcore non-dairy

UnderRated · 10/05/2008 22:28

Does soya yoghurt taste soya-ish? And is soy cheese any good?

zippitippitoes · 10/05/2008 22:29

a house in india sounds nice

yes its a bit uninspring cooking stuff for one person

so soya puds get a half ok then

accounts havent been looked at

my cds are in aplhabetical order tho

stuffitllama · 10/05/2008 22:31

lol at cds

have sought to avoid soya ..possibly using processed argument as an excuse though i might try a soy latte

I wonder if the coffee would hide the taste

UnderRated · 10/05/2008 22:50

Not all soya tastes of cardboard. Some of it is quite good but you have to hunt around to find a brand you like.

I was meant to do my taxes today but haven't.

Crisis: Am going on a date with Internet Man tonight.

zippitippitoes · 10/05/2008 22:51

ooh a date

and i was just going to say good night

stuffitllama · 10/05/2008 22:53

Great photos Berolina.

I have been poorly
And even more frustratingly, I think it is stress/anxiety related.
I ended up missing a friend's BBQ yesterday because of it.
Havwen't really eaten at all.
