For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Well if it works for us
I will send you some

It is a tincture in a lovely blue glass bottle with a dropper

I was discussing ds with CO and he was advising dh doing a lot more activities with him.
When I explained that this was unlikely he said he wished HE was ds's father & then went red & bungled his way out of it
He is lovely

I think I'm going to faint / throw up / die. Can't leave the office as no-one available to take over, my boss isn't around to take over, not sure how I'm going to get to the end of the day. And then I have to walk to get DD from nursery. Help!!!

I can't feel my arms.

OsmosisBanana · 01/05/2008 14:12

OsmosisBanana · 01/05/2008 14:17

I don't know. I think the numb arms thing is prob due to hyperventilating - throwing up really freaks me out. Feel really really bad.

stuffitllama · 01/05/2008 14:17

S1ur · 01/05/2008 14:22

Oh OB thqat sounds horrid? CAn you get home for a bit of a rest before picking up dd? Or is there somewhere in work you can go and be a bit quiet for a while?

Lully your OC sounds lovely

lullabyloo · 01/05/2008 14:23

Oh no OB you poor thing
There must be someone to take over/pick up dd?

OsmosisBanana · 01/05/2008 14:24

She's on a study day elsewhere. DH is at college in Guildford.

nightmare. Would it be too much to call an ambulance and get them to swing by nursery?

OsmosisBanana · 01/05/2008 14:25

I can't leave the office.

lullabyloo · 01/05/2008 14:27

Def not
call them immediately
Did you feel bad this morning?

OsmosisBanana · 01/05/2008 14:27

I didn't feel great, but not too bad

S1ur · 01/05/2008 14:28

Time to grit your teeth and count the hours then. Promise yourself a decent lie down in the dark when you get home - even if this means dinner is a bit later or dd watches telly or plays alone for a bit.

Have you taken any paracetemol? Sipping water?

lullabyloo · 01/05/2008 14:29

Please tell me I am not alone in not fancying Robert Downey Junior?
The whole of MN seem to be drooling over him on MamaG's thread
Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy?

TigerFeet · 01/05/2008 14:33

Hello

Are you all on Facebook then? Add me add me [needy]

Franny I know someone who did a phd in those Actimel things and their action on the gut and their efficacy and apparently one would have to eat about 50 pots a day to get any effect from them as the bacterial levels are so low. I suppose that's why healthfood shops sell tablets that are loaded with lactobacilli etc. I take them when I am stricken by one of my frequent and varying fungal infections, or when I am on AB's. I do think they have a place but tbh I wouldn't bother with the yogurty things, they are a marketing swizz. imvho.

I've had some melon and some blueberries today. And a load of other crap.

I am wondering about the meetup. You are all lovely and healthy and lentilly. I am not. I am scared. How very stupid .

TigerFeet · 01/05/2008 14:37

Oh lordy massive x post

Hope you are OK OB - and would the world really end if you weren't at work. Taxi to nursery and then on home wouldn't be a bad idea.

Hope you are feeling better soon

lullabyloo · 01/05/2008 14:37
