For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

lol bee
poor pink

have a roast beet to cheer you up

pinkspottywellies · 14/04/2008 21:52

Only put the tomatoes (cherry) in for about the last 10 mins. Just enough to heat up and go squishy.... mmmmmm

Damn pigs. I'm giving up bacon.

Ah no what the hell I don't care about your list anyway!

stuffitllama · 14/04/2008 21:53

bbee i like your new thread

stuffitllama · 14/04/2008 21:53

apparently bacon is the worst thing for tempting veggers off the wagon
specifically bacon sandwiches

zippitippitoes · 14/04/2008 21:54

i have another three items to add to my list

two cups of coffee and abar of chocolate

BBBee · 14/04/2008 21:54

pink you do care about my list, you know you do. I have moved you up a place now but you need to strive to hold it.

stuff - I have been told off on my breakaway supplement thread for taking too many and not being able to spell.

See what happens when you wander out of the cosy world of 10/10.

BBBee · 14/04/2008 21:55

hahah zippi - you have dropped a place on my list but you are so there in my heart with your coffee and chocolate and yummy climbing boy

FrannyandZooey · 14/04/2008 21:56

if I am top (I must admit I do doubt the truth of this) then I have nothing to aim for
and tbh if I am the healthiest person on this board we are all fucked

OP posts:
BBBee · 14/04/2008 21:57

not about healthiest - about who I strive to emulate foodwise attitude wise.

was about my new found vigour 10/10 and what I am tryin to do.

Hello all.

mushroomsplumsgrapestomatoesavocadocucumberwineappleonionsoranges Hoping that saying it fast will make it seem totally worthy.

I would love to meet you and picnic, it would be fabulous. But I fear you are just too darn southern for me perhaps once I can drive and am free free free to travel all over the country wherever the wind blows me....

No exercise = I am a lazy arse.
