For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

The fairyland trust is very good, they do all sorts of interesting things and take conservation and the country and wild stuff to children who would never otherwise experience it or indeed go to the countryside in some cases. They work hard and are good people and the fairy days are great fun. End of plug.

well your treatments are working MrsC
you are definitely near the top for sanity on this thread
and your veg were impeccably glamorous today

ok I will just eat
I don't know why I feel shy about it
friend does not stuff and I am getting large and it is maybe a bit embarrassing to eat lots and lots? we are trained out of it as young ladies aren't we? MrsC and Tatties will have a hard time believing I feel shy about eating after my performance at swanko hotel though

Ds still has his wand and wings from fairyland trust last year
I have very vivid memories of what it was like in their teepees, lots of senses being stimulated; I can taste and smell it now
I very much want to go this year but it would be daft to even try I think, considering date

MrsC, I didin't want to link it because I am angling for DH to book us there for either my birthday or our anniversary...
so I do NOT want braying poncey wnackers [lurkers, obviously!] booking it all up in the meantime...!

I like the look of those wnacky yurts with stoves and wood floors too

Fullmoonfiend · 18/04/2008 20:35

I can only see undergrowth and lentils round here...

FrannyandZooey · 18/04/2008 20:36

thats because we gave you a run for your money, Franny and it became necesary to fit words around the food. You did eat my tomato and basil bread one though.

FMV - I understand that. I forget about lurkers. Those farms are good aren't they, camping for slackers or at least those with babies.
