For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

TigerFeet · 17/04/2008 15:32

Am I synchronising I wonder? When is the collective period due? I am due whilst I am away. Farking typical. I may well take my mooncup in my hand baggage just to see what the security people make of it

lullabyloo · 17/04/2008 15:38

WELL MINE IS HERE TODAY

IdrisTheDragon · 17/04/2008 15:40

Mine is not synchronised with anyone I don't think.

I am unusual

Boco · 17/04/2008 17:26

Hello Veggers what's been happening.

Am home. The show was fantastically good and went very very well. I was really thinking that as i'm probably crap at networking that I'd settle for just not making a fool of myself in any way, and actually it went so unbelievably well and I enjoyed it and talked to everyone that i wanted to and more. I still feel all happy and elated from it.

And the rest of the time was lovely too and caught up with friends and ate nice food and slept well and talked lots and it was good. The only bit that wasn't is that i got on the train home and it hit someone and so we stopped for hours and only just got home and it was a bit weird.

what did you wear?

hair?

did you laugh loads?

was it wonderful (again!)?

Fullmoonfiend · 17/04/2008 18:00

what BBBeee said...tell us, tell us!

Tatties · 17/04/2008 18:02

Gosh Boco how awful about the train

Boco · 17/04/2008 18:07

OK So I wore a lovely borrowed dress which was black and purple and green and fitted and below the knee and v necked and long sleeved. I wore big earings and purple tights and black boots that are pointy and fairly high.

When I got there in the foyer bit one of my pictures was on a big screen and I went from nervous to very excited. The first person I spoke to asked for my autograph! And I said 'do you know who I am?' but in the opposite way to how that's usually meant because I thought he was mad. It was an autograph book for auction and the first page was jane ray and then korky paul and I drew a picture for him. I talked to everyone - the wine helped, jane ray was lovely and helpful and kind and has offered me some info and advice, as has another illustrator - met cherie booth which was odd, and jacqueline wilson - korky paul was charming and drew me a picture - and joyce dunbar was very kind about my pictures - and it was all very wonderful and then i met my friend and we got drunk (drunker).

FrannyandZooey · 17/04/2008 18:09

Ooh I love Jane Ray how very fab
