For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Boco · 15/04/2008 11:58

Hello veggers. Am in London and just had the longest lie in for about six years. It's making me feel quite wonderful. I woke up at 11! I can't remember when I've ever had so much sleep. Doesn't it feel great!

Friend had to work today and I'm reading a book and trying on dresses and her small dog is padding around staring at me.

TooTicky · 15/04/2008 12:02

Sounds like a different world Boco

FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2008 12:35

FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2008 12:45

oooh Boco
did we get description of outfit yet? can we have pictures?

OP posts:
Boco · 15/04/2008 12:48

See part of the problem is that the outfit is changing every 10 - 15 minutes. I'm staying with the worlds biggest dress hoarder. I have the choice of about 150 dresses all in my size. And about 200 pairs of shoes. She's a bit of a flirtier dresser than me so all the short ones are out - and the super high shoes - but it still leaves a lot, and her suggestions are very convincing at the time but now she's gone to work i'm not sure. Lots of nice ones so guess it won't matter.
