For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

MrsCarrot · 12/04/2008 10:50

Today, Boco? We are doing chores at home today and I would like nothing more than to go into town on my own and do some shopping. Hmm, DH will sigh and roll his eyes.

I will ask him.

zippitippitoes · 12/04/2008 10:50

how nice to be able to meet a 10er

Fullmoonfiend · 12/04/2008 10:52

zippitippitoes · 12/04/2008 10:52

Fullmoonfiend · 12/04/2008 10:56

Tatties says Avi is coming to the cold north soon so we are going to eat cakes meet-up!

MrsCarrot · 12/04/2008 11:17

DH is fine about it. What time are you coming in, will there be time for lunch if we find the right dress?

Lol at Sting's wife! I went to one of those healing fairs where you try out taster sessions. She said she would give me half price shiatsu so I can have them every fortnight up to the operation. She is only 23 but really good. I've never had it before, I like the fact that you don't have to get undressed.

TooTicky · 12/04/2008 11:31

None of you live near me

Boco · 12/04/2008 11:47

MrsC - yes lets have lunch! But running a bit late so may be a bit of a late lunch - will leave in about half an hour and doing park and ride. Could meet about half one? Dp taking children for a bit.

BBBee · 12/04/2008 12:00

at mrs c and boco having lunch

toot - do you go to 'home town' much?

could meet you for coffee smoothie one day I at university?

Isn't it a beautiful day!

boco has probably gone but i have a good feeling about the dress thing today.

oh zippi - i love that about bf/dgs dilemma! After that day out fiasco I would be tempted to ask for dgs one afternoon and do something just the two of you for his birthday one day and spend the w/end with your lovley beautiful bf.

fmf - I think the green one is very you - the first one is maybe not chic enough - but I am not great at dress sense. I like what zippi wears.

MrsCarrot · 12/04/2008 12:00

late lunch is good, more tables. See you later!

Fullmoonfiend · 12/04/2008 12:04

BBee - chic and me are not words which generally go together. . .

I have ordered both anyway.

BBBee · 12/04/2008 12:08

fmf - they do - you are - i remember.

BBBee · 12/04/2008 12:09

am off to make play dough with dd - had to search on here for fz recipe adn had a quick read aqnd there are LOADS of wonderful ideas - loads.

stuffitllama · 12/04/2008 13:00

hope you have lovely coffee and shop
report purchases!

homework done without battle

mowing lawn

xx

BBBee · 12/04/2008 13:02

boco

do you want to borrow this? I have it in a 12

BBBee · 12/04/2008 13:05

or this in blue or brown - again a 12.

I also have loads of wrap dresses that would suit you.

btw - zippi I did not mean I had no dress sense and an example of this was me liking your clothes! I meant I don't think I have dress sense but I think you looked very glamorous so I must have some.

We made chocolate play dough and am now exposed to numerous 'hiliarious' poo gags - how I laugh.....

FrannyandZooey · 12/04/2008 13:07

Boco Bee's dresses would look lovely on you - esp the second
are you a 12 though?

have had another banana, grapes, raisins
I am mostly fruitarian so far today

BBBee · 12/04/2008 13:09

i don;t think boco is a 12 but I think the blue one would work because it is very stretchy and is belted under bust. I don;t mind sending them for her to try.

How are you fz? I am doing really well actually on the old 10/10 front and am very proud.

Spring is nice - am tidying kitchen. Just wish there was something nicer on the radio.

zippitippitoes · 12/04/2008 13:15

at my clothes/taste etc

i have just had a tedious time in m and s trying on some bras as mine are all too big now..i have bought loads in the last year or so as i keep shrinking

so now mine are just silly but they were ncompletely unhelpful in there i took a selection into the changing room and felt like zippilocks and the 6 bras

i asked the woman for some advice and she fetched another but that just seemed to squash me and i thought well i dont want to look like a squashed tangwerine but she didnt come back so i thought sod it

so i acme out she says any good

and i said no none of them fit and hse didnt offer any help

so i was pissed off

i hope the dress buying goes better for boco

jealous of people having lunch

yes it is probably a good oidea for me to see dgs separately
