For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

High proportion of SMiths references in your titles, isn't there.

zippitippitoes · 12/04/2008 10:32

i of course have no children to be a mare around me

this does however mean i am rather idle

although i do have lots to do

i managed to forget it was dgs birthday next saturday and have invited bf here

he hasnt actually been directly apprised of the fact of dgs

he hasnt asked who the car seat belongs to

tho i guess he might have worked it out from my fotos on facebook

Fullmoonfiend · 12/04/2008 10:33

pointy it's one of The Rules of being a vegger...

Boco · 12/04/2008 10:35

fmf I can tell you're energised today by the amount of bold you are using.

zippitippitoes · 12/04/2008 10:35

i have to try really hard to typoe proeprly

ds commented the other day

i banana now will have oats and commercially produced overpriced granola

Boco · 12/04/2008 10:36

Are you going to tell bf about dgs then Zippi? Are you worried about it or just not got round to it?

stuffitllama · 12/04/2008 10:37

zippi i will stop stalking i can see it makes you uncomfy
it's not in my nature i just like a rofl

if you've ever put in contact lenses after not scrubbing chilli off your hands quite thoroughly you will have some idea of the pain i'm in now

pointydog · 12/04/2008 10:37

Are you all vegetarians, fiend?

Boco · 12/04/2008 10:39

I'm not a vegetarian and I don't really know any Smiths songs either. Actually I haven't hit 10/10 for months. I'm a bad vegger.

zippitippitoes · 12/04/2008 10:40

well i guess i must be worried about it tho it hardly makes a difference really

he knows my kids ages ie the oldest is 24 which is much nearer his age than mine

he did unnerve me slightly last weekend by saying now his mum is a granny he should start buying her grannyish stuff ..this is because he has that male teasing big brother gene

we havent really discussed ourselves that much ie like previous relationships and things except vaguely he does know i split up with someone who isnt my kids dad last year

he doesnt know why tho

zippitippitoes · 12/04/2008 10:41

i am not a vegetarian either but i was for about 15 years or something

FrannyandZooey · 12/04/2008 10:41

Boco you are a very GOOD vegger
now can we all be a little more positive about ourselves today please
we will have to do some standing round chanting and holding hands or something at this rate

zippitippitoes · 12/04/2008 10:42

and i do like the smiths tho for some reason i never recognise any song titles

zippitippitoes · 12/04/2008 10:42

oh of course i recognise snog titles just not thread titles relating to them

FrannyandZooey · 12/04/2008 10:43

oh I see pointy has thought vegger meant vegetarian

this happened to me on a juice thread the other day and it was embarrassing

pointy we just call each other veggers because

erm

because we eat veg

ok?
