For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

addicted to green stuff

stuffitllama · 11/04/2008 18:57

Fmf that's a right nice top you'd be mad not to, if I'm allowed to say so without meeting you

Boco what rotten news, have you googled your thing and is there anything natural/alternative that will help? Does it get cured or does it go away?

Can I just share that dh had terrible terrible rash that doctors from the whole practice came to see one day and it turned out it was totally one hundred per cent stress related -- is this a possibility?

I got shut out ages ago [anger] everything went sticky and slow, just after dh found me reporting veg consumption and suggested it was time I got a job

he has no respect

Franny they do say a woman over a certain age should never wave goodbye

stuffitllama · 11/04/2008 18:57

that should be of course
but not really now I'm back

stuffitllama · 11/04/2008 18:59

not so keen on green
especially with black

zippitippitoes · 11/04/2008 19:00

i prefer the first i think the second i am not sure about the neck

bvut i am terible about fashion advice lol

FrannyandZooey · 11/04/2008 19:01

the second one is nicer IMO

stuffit we cannot ignore your dh's disrespect to veggers
tell him he could wake up with a cauliflower head in his bed if he is not careful

I spend a large chunk of my working life waving (singing hello or goodbye to children)
I try not to look down
it was definitely better when I was doing big weights

OP posts:
stuffitllama · 11/04/2008 19:03

gosh i really prefer the first
how big with the weights?

i force him to eat folic acid to prevent alzheimers
he is big on eye-rolling these days

stuffitllama · 11/04/2008 19:04

talking about fashion
can we discuss what you will wear with the black tie

stuffitllama · 11/04/2008 19:04

oh and another carrot

FrannyandZooey · 11/04/2008 19:05

they were weeny really
but I have to boast now my arms are only puny again, not puny and almost quite muscly if I clenched them

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 11/04/2008 19:05

did you resally not know i was building a house

it ranks as one of my niche topics i think

Boco · 11/04/2008 19:07

I prefer the second one, not too keen on the first.

Franny it was given to me by my friend who has just opened a beautiful boutique full of glorious things, lots of uttam stuff actually too. She was sent some samples - mostly from dari maya and orion - and let me have them. I wear some of them, but this one is just a little .... unusual for my village, it might scare people.

Fullmoonfiend · 11/04/2008 19:08

shall i get both??

They both would look fab over my flarey jeans, no? For festivals?

stuffitllama · 11/04/2008 19:11

I think this place is very sticky today
it looks like you haven't posted anything so you do it again and then you just end up looking silly

how big will it be, how much of it are you doing yourself

arrgh children

ladywombling · 11/04/2008 19:19

Hello all, just popping in to say thank you for all your kind wishes for dS (BTW I think Bungo was the smallet womble)

He has not had a very good day nfotuntely has been a bit under the weather and very clingy. Hopefully he will be better tomorrow when all the family are coming for a birthday tea.

Franny, I might have some suitable summery kaftany type stuff. will look after the tea party.

Back to my baking and cooking, so see you all later.

ladywombling · 11/04/2008 19:24

FMF,

Def prefer the green one, although bith will look fab on you with flarey jeans. I have festival and weight envy, sorry

Congrats to you and DP on job BTW!

Boco · 11/04/2008 19:26

Happy birthday to baby wombling - have a nice tea party and hope he's better.

zippitippitoes · 11/04/2008 19:27

fun

and house building are two completely unconnected experiences

well im sure the green dress is nice

i am really not good at that kind of thing

did yiu see my attempts to help franny find clothes

zippitippitoes · 11/04/2008 19:28

i blame the house for dps departure

when i dont want to think it was about babies he never said he wanted

Fullmoonfiend · 11/04/2008 19:31

well I have orderedboth so we shall see!
(I am terrible at choosing clothes. I want to satisfy my inner hippy, but without looking like a completely sad old hippy IFKWIM. At the moment my entire wardrobe seems to be black and sludgey green plus jeans. But if I buy anything too 'loud' I spend the night wishing I was back in 'safe' sludgey colours....yet I crave a bit of colour. sigh)

UnderRated · 11/04/2008 19:40

Hello

Happy birthday little Womble. A Lemon Tree is very exciting, AVi. Is it big?

Glad your DS has a vocation in mind now, zippi. Sounds promising. Your DGS sounds like my DS. Must be the chavvy name

FMF, have no idea re missied periods. I still haven't had mine. Lovely tops. I have the same problem with clothes - craving colour but then feeling self-concious and loud when I do wear something not black bright. There are no hippyish clothes here. Only mass produced Gap stuff.

Boco, sorry your rash diagnosis wasn't better news. I can't imagine anything really vile, but whatever it is, I hope it is easily treated.

Was there a decision on the boat name?
