For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

aperading = spreading

I am having a crap time with ds. He is really pissing me off and I am not sure what percentage of it is me and what percentage him.

not had much f+v since breakfast ( well NONE unless jam counts. Oh and carton of juice) but stir fry for dinner should just about scrape 10

we are havgin macaroni cheese for supper - not very 10/10 but is the weather for it.

franny tell me your baby is squiggling because I like that.

Boco - I love the picture and how sweet of your dp. It is nice, and being nice is nice and people don;t often get recognised for being nice.

BBBee · 26/03/2008 17:17

sorry to be a bitch - we don;t really bitch on here but doesn't the term 'baby dancing' make you want to bite your fist to draw blood?

Boco · 26/03/2008 17:22

Yeah, babydancing not a good phrase. What do you say, just out of interest? Doing it?

Beee what have you planned for your birthday? Many lovely things?

zippitippitoes · 26/03/2008 17:26

i refer to it as sex

bananas apples and cheese with the end oif a bit of bread

i am going to bake some more bread now

i have accidentally bought some more cds as i had to buy some balls to send

Boco · 26/03/2008 17:27

Very sensible Zippi, hadn't thought of that, Sex. Has quite a ring to it doesn't it.

BBBee · 26/03/2008 18:16

we call it sex too.

Well boco yesterday I went to london with my mum and we saw the history boys and went out for a meal and that was all for my birthday. I have lots of work to do so I think tomorrow I will go to the library and do that but do a nice thing on my own like have a nice thing for lunch in town.

My mum is picking the children up from school adn there is a 'plan' i think it involves a tera party.

dp is not good at birthdays. he claims it is cultural but I think it is laziness.

BBBee · 26/03/2008 18:17

actually, though, we don;t really talk about it - just do it - it is not like dp comes in and says 'sex time' or anything. So I guess we don;t really refer to it much.

FrannyandZooey · 26/03/2008 18:18

I want macaroni cheese
we had stir fried pak choi, carrots and mushrooms

BBBee · 26/03/2008 18:19

Boco · 26/03/2008 18:26

What's a tera party? It sounds scary.

Having fish pie, my favourite.

FrannyandZooey · 26/03/2008 18:28

Not even an Egyptian bathroom?

Am going to Bristol in the morning to see inlaws and Bristol friends for a few days.

FrannyandZooey · 26/03/2008 18:37

even an egyptian bathroom will be no protection against that combo
