For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

OH franny - she can;t copy you - she will not have the ethos just the act - the others will be able to tell.

boco - that is crappy for you. You know that thing DD1 is doing - the blame sobbing thing? I used to do that - I used to write long letters about my family hating me and sent via proper post to them. I have grown up to be dleightfully reflective and bumpuous. So all good in long run.

Also, now this is probably wrong, but I always found those kind of situations better without DP hyping it up into some kind of caberet of shouting. The shed might be good. Um, it does get better.

When we had a bad phase we did a family meeting thing where we were all allowed to make up two rules each and everyone had to do them. We had things like "Try everything on your plate without complaining first" (me) "Do not run into other people's gardens" (DS - He has never done this) and a very long one about using pencil ettique (DD)

then it was all decorated with glittered and stickers and put on the fridge and ignored. But was cathertic.

I am supposed to go to some kind of literary dinner thing - you see there is a literary festival and I have done things with them before (with this most wonderful bloke who is both VERY gay and VERY flirty) but now I have to go havin read no books and chat at a dinner. I know I will be an embarrased twat and will get drunk and say all books are shit.

Kiki superfood

In RL it's a green powder that smells like grass that you mix with water

For some reason I was expecting some thick, gooey marmitey style liquid. Really don't know why.

I'm taking it as I'm a bit run down and I'm hoping it will help.

FrannyandZooey · 01/04/2008 21:23

Hi I haven't had time to read in but hope all are very well. Carrots, beans, satsumas, but loads of carrots and beans. How about something from Super(wheat)grass?

pinkspottywellies · 01/04/2008 21:42

Hello! We had yummy roasted veg for dinner - onions, parsnips, beetroot and carrots. Great big chunks of them all and dd's mouth was all red from the beetroot. She says Mummy and Daddy a lot at the minute. It's lovely. I've been running tonight. 25mins. Yay. I spoke to my lovely friend tonight who I don't speak to enough. She lives too far away now and I miss her so much.

Sounds like we're all having a rubbishy time keep sounding off on here if it helps.

zippitippitoes · 01/04/2008 21:44
