For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

but my hunk is staying with me for the weekend when i come back perhaps ill unexpectedly bump into you lolololo

Boco · 18/03/2008 17:09

but when he's putting his head in his hand he's kind of laughing a bit and then you realise he's crying and he looks up and when he talks his voice kind of cracks a bit and his mouth turns down in the corner. I like it when maude starts saying 'you gotta ELL EYE VEE EEE LIVE! and roaring a lot.

Slur - sorry - it's a film called Harold and Maude. I sent Franny one of my favourite films called Together, and now Bee has it - you can have it if you like - it's Swedish, about a commune in the 70s. And now I'll pass on Harold and Maude. It's all veg and culchah in here.

Boco · 18/03/2008 17:10

Hello Filthy! Hows real life?

FrannyandZooey · 18/03/2008 17:12

FMF your new name is funny

sorry the film is Harold and Maude

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 18/03/2008 17:14

ooh sorry am so slow
ye-es Boco mayyyybe
maybe not
I think perhaps I want him to not be good in other things because I want him just to be in THIS and only be Harold and just disappear and never be seen again
his skin is quite extraordinary, kind of waxy
it is totally marvellous anyway isn't it? I want to watch it again right now
Maude is so sexy and wonderful

OP posts:
Boco · 18/03/2008 17:20

Maude just gets more and more beautiful, and so does Harold. I found him repulsive to start with - he's kind of pale blue, but by the time he gets a bit animated and ruffled he's adorable. It's a cheeky film isn't it, so many little tricks. Love the music too. Dp decided he wants to play the banjo.

FrannyandZooey · 18/03/2008 17:23

oh yes, I have been singing the music today thinking about it all
there was no proper soundtrack done at the time but an obsessive type ex made me a soundtrack with all the songs in order, and little snippets of dialogue
we should stop talking about it now should we? or can we go on? I want to go on

RosemaryBoxer · 18/03/2008 17:24

filthymindedlurker · 18/03/2008 17:25

RosemaryBoxer · 18/03/2008 17:26

i am trying to think of stuff to do if the weather is crap apart from the onbvious

i am even thinking of going to wrwick castle

lullabyloo · 18/03/2008 17:32

Boco,,, what a horrid day,you poor thing
wasp stings are horrid

I have never had a microwave...ghastly things imo...do damage to your insides & alter the molecular structure of food so that there is basically no nutritional value left in in it.

I have kept my name,I loathe dh's name & really didn't want ds to have it....but....dh's father died days before ds was born & it became a very important issue to dh
So....poor ds has both our names...hmmmm

Ds asked to go adventuring when he woke up this morning,so we hopped on a train & went up to London,to the transport museum & early tea at Paul...mini sandwiches, strawberry tarts, mini macaroons

not going to get my 10 today

Boco · 18/03/2008 17:32

Franny have you seen the life aquatic? I love it, I love Owen Wilson's character - it's wonderful. And the accountant is so sweet - they're kind of snooty and pissed off that this accountant has to come with them on their mission as part of the conditions of the funding - and he says this like about how he has feelings too, and they look at him differently and they all do a kind of motivational high five type thing and he looks so proud and happy to be included. And it's Harold! look, you won't believe how he turns out

filthymindedlurker · 18/03/2008 17:33

no zips, prolly not til the weekend after. Warwick castle looks awesome but alas, the gates of paradise are barred to us....we are too poor

Boco · 18/03/2008 17:35

Lully I'm just a bit wimp who makes a terrible fuss. Dp came home and we all showed him our war wounds, dd2 had fallen in a muddy puddle, dd1 and her sting (he'd seen it, but had to look again) me and my fat lip and grazed hand and all my aches and pains. He said 'good god, what have you all been doing?'

RosemaryBoxer · 18/03/2008 17:38

well let me know..i am not sure what i am doing that weekend possuibly might be arouind cos i am going to lithuania the one after

ladywombling · 18/03/2008 17:45

Oh zippi, how frustrating. Hope you enjoyed the weeding. I tend to find it quite theraputic.

Boco, are you ok? Sounds like everyone is having a bad day The felting person doesn't sound like a good teacher to me.

Um, no F&V so far. Unless the shredded carrot in veggie sushi counts? [pathetic] I sat and watched DS scoffing the seaweed and rice and remember that I was 26 when I first tried sushi. Yet my 2 yr old knows exactly what it is, which type he likes and how to serve it. How things have changed [old hag emoticon]

I found some vegetable thing in the freezer, so we'll eat that later and DS snuck a punnet of strawberries in the shopping and I had already put one in but I didn't notice til we got home, so I suppose we'll be eating strawberries a lot today. I tried to justify it to myself but checking they were grown in the US, which they are. Then it struck me that they will have been grown in California, which is 2000 miles away so really not very local at all.

I think Harold and Maude is on my list - I will check.

RosemaryBoxer · 18/03/2008 17:52

oh the shower door looks as tho it is attached

UnderRated · 18/03/2008 17:54

Zippi, why are you going to Lithuania?

FrannyandZooey · 18/03/2008 18:20

Boco so there is a film with both Owen Wilson and Bud Cort in? Oh lordy lord, thanks for the tip off

I was going to try to get a couple of films to watch over the easter weekend (hardly ever see films but enjoy it so much when I do). I was planning to go to the cinema a lot before dc born but when I went in London my back was ever so slightly dodgy and it scared me. I was going to rent Being John Malkovitch and that Little Miss Sunshine thing. Will I like them?
